After hearing rumors of Hiro having an awesome plot line for season 4, it has lead me to believe that perhaps after overcoming this struggle he is going through with his powers that maybe he will become the bada$$ future Hiro that we saw in the fiver years gone future. Thoughts?

Yeah, this could be a possibility and I can't wait to see his sword again. I think will also see a romance between him and Claire, that's something I'm looking forward too seeing wub.gif

This goes in speculation

guys you forgot, "badass Hiro" only existed in the alternate reality when Ando was killed.

Hiro has been having problems from using his power, and at the last episode he said he was returning home... he may be done for good. if the writers choose to do this it will probably be because incorporating time travel into a plot must take an overwhelming amount of planning. like any time something goes wrong they could just travel back and try again, you know? he's awesome but too powerful for the story. maybe he will be reduced to only stopping time, or slowing time. but even then he's practically invincible.

I think they've already done irreparable harm to Hiro. Not sure if we'll ever see Hiro as anything more than a hero-wanna be. He not only lost his powers, he failed his mom by losing the catalyst moments after she died giving it to him. Now baby touch n go started him back up but in such a limited way that it just isn't the Hiro we all came to know and love. Add to that he's now suffering from even using the limited power.

So maybe him going home to Japan is all thats left for him. He obviously can't travel from the future even to fix himself, because he has no powers in the future...

See time travel wasn't ever a problem, the problem is the writers just aren't capable of writing a plot that doesn't use "fate", and not sure if Fuller can convinceingly re introduce mysticism at this point.

You know when you think about it, Hiros character is really just sad. He struggled for so long to earn his dads respect, mourned the loss of his mom, knew he didn't fit in with his dads company and certainly didn't want to run it. Then he develops this amazing time travel ability, and again, he fails. Then he lost his mom again, only this time to make it worse, he loses the catalyst almost immediately following her death. Don't forget giving him the catalyst was her last act... Then he goes outside and loses it and his time travel ability.

Sure baby touch n go gave him something back, but whats he suppose to do now, if he keeps freezing time he'll stoke out... I just don't think we'll ever see "tough guy Hiro" that we glimpsed from the future. Just like we'll never see a Peter/Sylar showdown.

Is this all you ever do soapy, Complain? I mean seriously, all you do is come in and bash things about the show. If you really don't like it to the extent that all you have is a negative attitude about it, then what is the point for you. Why do you watch it and why do you post? If you can't be positive about the show then just leave it. Walk away and quit giving us the headache of how bad you think it is.

In regards to Peter, Hiro and Sylar, yeah probably. But as for posting overall in regards to the other characters, you're way off base.sarcasm.gif

Sorry, but bashing doesn't really work with me.huh.gif So maybe you'd be better off spending your time in a thread that does agree with you.

If you think about it though, Hiro was supposed to do all that he did to stop the future that he saw from happening. If Arthur had never come and taken his power and the catalyst. Peter would have never gotten his powers back, thus unabling him from saving both Nathan and himself.
Peter's powers are coming back, why can't Hiro's?

Oh! Also he was the one that ripped the formula in half and then in the present future (paradox??) he ripped up the formula, meaning the future that he saw won't happen :)
