In a lot of my post I may diss Brady, but the actor is a refreshing change of pace, I love that we have him here at Days. He just needs to be utilized better. I don't want him with Nicole. Yesterday and Friday Brady had me very angry and upset that he would try and manipulate MIA just for his own little whitetrashtrailerpark Nicole. He needs to take inventory again. He was so far gone up her butt that while calling his favorite, an innocent bystander gets the brunt of his selfhate. BUT then, this was a way for him to notice Arianna? Another contrived couple.


Just in case writers here are the 12 steps. Maybe you can fix this situation


The 12 Steps

Step 10 - Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it
Step 11 - Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood God, praying only for knowledge of God's will for us and the power to carry that out
Step 12 - Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other addicts, and to practice these principles in all our affairs

I do think the way Brady acted to Arianna was out of character, he doesnt have that nasty streak.

But I really wouldnt call them contrived. The original plan for Arianna was Max, after Rachel announce she was leaving but than Darins series got picked up and it was decided he would leave too. So here is a very hot eligible bachelor, it was the logical choice as the other bachelor is dr Dan and he is involved in the Lucas/Chloe mess. I would think they may try Arianna with Lucas to depending on what all transpires in the future. Who knows exactly who all she may end up involved with in the future.

I love Eric,I've loved him for 7 years.

MAX? He was with Chelsea. NO, that's not right. They quit within a month of each other, I can't believe they were going to use Arianna with Max.

BUT this is about Eric. GIVE HIM screentime worthy of this talents!

I like Eric, just annoyed with his character.

I love EM to Days writers need to give him something other then to be the town shrink or to fade in and out of other s/l's.

I love eric I have been watching him since Passions but I do wish he was more ruthless he is too nice for my taste.

I think Eric is great.I liked him as Ethan on Passion and I'm liking him as Brady.Once again,he has proven to be a great recast.

Eric is the best looking man on Days...I DROOL every time I see him... he is yum-diddily-umpscious!

Eric is a total hunk and he fits right into the role of Brady. Wonderful, muscular body, beautiful smile and very talented. Can't get much better than that.

Yesterday's scene with Victor was Glad he walked out. Today, not so thrilled with him falling once again into Nicole's web of lies. But enough about sad Brady.....let's enjoy Eric Martsolf. Anyone have some Drool worthy pictures they want to share?


I read that he loved his music, has anyone heard any of Eric's CD?

I am a new fan, so I am going back into history looking at video interviews and such....on youtube, soap digest, and even his own website. Not Bad. If they can have Chloe singing on Days, why don't they have some sort of Charity thing and let Brady sing.


Martsolf's New CD

PASSIONS' Eric Martsolf (Ethan) goes back to his roots on a self-tilted contemporary pop/rock album.

"It has a bit of an '80s element to it," Martsolf explains. "It's funny, because you're hearing that all over the radio right now with bands like The Killers. I'm an adolescent from the '80s and was in an '80s cover band for years, so I had to throw some of that into my album."

He also had to throw a bit of Harmony in there. "I had the fans in mind when I chose these [original] songs," Martsolf explains. "One is called 'Liar' and it's so Gwen yelling at Theresa. It's hilarious. Another one is 'Hold on to Me,' which is Ethan and Theresa's song and might be appearing in a montage coming up. We had fun making the album. It's not deep or serious."

And it's not...er, fake. "No computers, sequencing or sampling. It's not over-processed," he promises. "The problem with a lot of music now is that it shoots right out of a computer. With ProTools and computer instrumentation, anybody can have a CD and make themselves sound good. This is just a bunch of talented musicians in the studio, from instrument to amp to tape, and I'm proud of that."

Proud enough to put his name on it! But that doesn't mean he won't share the credit. "The producer of the album, Dito Godwin, produced No Doubt's first album when they were a raw, cool new ska band. He's great. I was also lucky to have many talented writers come my way and offer me original tunes," Martsolf raves. "Marcus Brown, who plays keyboard on the CD and is Madonna and Ozzy Osbourne's road keyboardist, brought a whole new flair. I didn't intend the album to be keyboard- and synthesizer-heavy, but he came in and blew me out of the water. We clicked right away."

The result is on sale now. "I am so freaking ready for this it's ridiculous," Martsolf says of the June 5 release. "The guys in the studio were poking fun at me, saying, 'Rick Springfield, look out!' and 'Eric's the Rick of the new millennium.' Hey man, Rick did fine blending his soap career [as GENERAL HOSPITAL's Noah] with his music. If I'm that fortunate, that would be great!"

Martsolf's five-song CD is available for at myspace.com/ericmartsolfmusic, as well as from iTunes. Soon it will be available for download via all the digital sites, including Napster and Rhapsody.

Yeah I have his cd,so good and I have some other songs he's done as well that aren't on cd,he's done his own versions of song like ''Just Once'',''Amazed'',''Don't Be Cruel'' and others.

I've loved Eric since Passions and as of yet I don't think any of the women on Days could match the chemistry he had with Lindsay. Sheesh, if they were hiring a sister for Rafe couldn't they just have hired her?

^^ That would have been awkward if they hired lindsay as rafe sister, that would be too much like Passion like. Although I was`nt a fan of Ethan and theresa, they had some major chemistry.

I hear yah Bowiehs, but that's what makes me laugh. I mean, playing Galen's sister again and being paired up with Eric as Arianna? You couldn't plan it any better. It would be completely cheeky.

I'm loving Eric as Brady. I do think that he could be used a lot better though. I LOVE Brady and Nicole so I'm hoping things pick up there, but right now he just seems to be used as a prop for other storylines. He needs one of his own.

I love that you mentioned Lucas, because I would like to see her with him. I think they would be cute. Plus, Chloe is bound to end up with Dr. Dan again.

I couldn't agree more!!! He is the sexiest actor t ohit DOOL in a LONG time!! HE was my fave on Passions and now he's my fave on Days. When he was first on Passions i thought he needed some acting lessons, but now he has really evolved and has become a great actor. I hope the writers will give him something to showcase his skills!
