Would that ending have been freaky if they had not been renewed?! Wasn't the last line something like: here's to fighting another day? Maybe, if it hadn't been renewed, they would have added something in post-production, like on Without A Trace. Maybe just pictures flashing by of the cast from over the years.
Anyway, I will miss this show until next Sept.

I thought this was a terrific episode--an excellent season ender. Particularly like Jack and Cutter effectively taking down the Shalvoys. I was glad to see that whether the show renewed for next year or not, the writers gave us resolution to that story line. And the scene with Bernard and Lupo convincing the girl that her implants would be ripped out if she didnt come clean was very very funny.
But--I had a couple of issues. First of all, I never could figure out who sent the tape of Charles Whitley and his frisky little friends to the newspaper--or why. The tape had already been sent to Boland Enterprises, and Whitley had refused to resign, so what would be the point of sending it to a paper?
And I really dont care for it when I see the legal team using a dry erase board to map out the crime. I kind of think that if the writers have to provide the audience with a flow chart to figure out who did what to whom, then perhaps they havent told their story as clearly as they could have. I recall thinking the same thing this year in Illegitimate where the crime was pretty convulted. But that's just my reaction.
I still love this show. On to Season 20!
