I'm hooked. I can totally see the world from Toby's point of view in this show. He's not a superhero, he's just a little bit outside of the rest of us. I'm dying for the next episode.
But I was hooked on Journeyman too, and Moonlight.
Thoughts after 3 episodes...
Let's have more depth to the Charlie character. HOW did such a strikingly beautiful woman (beautiful enought to be a TV star!) wind up doing detective work for the Toronto Police? And define her relationship with Toby a bit more conclusively. Is she his mother, his mistress, his mentor, his what else begins with "M"?
This show has such po-ten-tial! Don't let me down!!!

Entertaining ep. Somewhat predictable towards the end but I liked the story.

lionel, I'm so happy for you, being hooked and all, and I know what you mean about wanting to see the next episode. Now, to attempt to answer your question, I think Charlie may have some interesting history behind her, possibly some emotional trauma in her character. She may have even witnessed (or more likely been the victim of) some terrible crime early in her life, but that's just me. As for her relationship with Toby, I don't think I've seen enough of the show to give you an informed opinion on that since I missed some of the second episode =(. But so far she appears to be more of a companion (not in the sexual way) and potential friend/aid. Who knows what's going to happen next...
