I love seeing the hot guy with the girl next door too. Nobody is denying that. What I don't like about Ejami are female fans, in general, that I have seen identify with Sami because she is a 'regular' woman. I think a lot of woman identify with Sami more than Nicole, but I am not going to look up to Sami at all. Sami is not someone I would strive to be. She has played too many games, committed too many crimes, and played God too many times. I don't identify as a woman with that type of character.

I do believe a lot of woman identify with Sami because she was once plus size and they see her as a regular woman. Carrie is the glamorous sister. Sami was the underdog. Sami is beautiful. Carrie was annoying anyway. I just don't think Sami ever feels she is good enough. I do believe though there are woman out there who love Sami solely because they are trying to live out some fantasy dream of the average girl (although I don't think Sami is average at all) and the hot guy, which is EJ. I think they put themselves in their shoes, and live out their fantasy through that. Sami has had some really goodlooking guys including Rafe, Brandon, Franco, Lucas, EJ etc.. The girl is very lucky.

I believe this is why a lot of fans can't stand Nicole. Stereotypical: blond, statesque, tall, and stunning. (Not that Sami isn't). Both Sami and Nicole have both done bad things in the past. What makes people be fan of Sami more than Nicole? I don't get it. To me, they are both equally beautiful and also, they both have made mistakes. What makes Sami and Nicole any different? My best friend has told me about Sami's past and Nicole's past.

Yes, Nicole is keeping Sami's baby from her, but what about everything Sami has done:
*lying to Austin about the paternity of Will (Will's scenes show how he was so angry when is mother lied to him about Grace, but she tells Lucas?*
*accussing Lucas of abusing Will, which is not true
*denying EJ so many times when he proved he loved her
*playing God with Grace without knowing about the baby switch
*lying to EJ about Grace
*the Stan episodes

Now, Nicole:
*throwing acid in Chloe's face (why are they friends anyways?)
*marrying Lucas for five million
*being a porn star
*trying to murder Victor
*switching Sydney etc..

Both Nicole and Sami are not perfect. They are both beautiful, blond-haired woman, and to me they have both made mistakes, and have both done EJ wrong. What makes Sami so different from Nicole? I don't get it. They are both equally guilty. They both have bad pasts.

So, that's why I'm basing my opinion that a lot of woman identify more with Sami because she is the underdog here. God Forbid, EJ likes a tall, thin, blond woman. She is a 'ho' because EJ picked her. That's rude to say in my opinion.

Anyways, point blank is, Sami denied EJ's love way too often. You can say oh, she was scared to show her true feelings? But why? Why didn't she tell EJ about Grace? I don't buy the DiMera excuses. EJ would have dropped Nicole in a second to be with Sami. We all know that. So, Sami is the reason she is not with EJ. She degrades him in the past, and never gives him a chance. If she is so love with him, why doesn't she just be honest? I don't blame EJ for moving on with Nicole. Yes, Nicole has done bad things, but why wait around for someone who doesn't even give you their love back. That's a waste of time.

And also, soap operas are a fantasy world. I think we can all agree that a lot of soaps have goodlooking men and women. I know many people turn into that, and yes, I like to see that. I like to see a mix of characters.

Personally, I like Stephanie's disposition the most on the show. She is sweet, level-headed, and I identify with her the most. I also like Melanie's character as well. Kayla is also my favourite of all time. Educated, loving mother, loving husband, and she was fantastic.

Anyways, if I'm shallow because I like watching Days to see attractive people, so be it. I love watching lots of types of people.

I watched Big Brother tonight. They had brains, popular, athletes, and offbeats. I have respect for them all.

I can understand why you feel they way you do . But here is what I think on the matter. The reasons why I don't like Nicole is the crimes she has done have always been about herself or money. I know that Sami has done many things but she has always wanted love and acceptance from her loved ones. As for why I like Sami more than Nicole ,is that Sami was always the Ant- Brady. She always had a mischievous/bad side. But her heart was always in the right place. They say the road to hell are paved with good intentions. Sami has always shown strength and determination. I guess for me I also love the way that (Ali S.) portrays Sami. She makes you want to root for her even though she isn't perfect. I found her sister Carrie boring and a hypocrite. Like so many others of Sami's loved ones. As for not liking Nicole I guess I see her with dollar signs in her eyes. Her prime motovation has been money. Right now I don't like her because she went after a guy who obviously hadn't gotten over his previuos reltionship. She let her self be used. I wouldn't have hit it with some guy who called out someone else's name. I respect (AZ) acting skills but I just prefer (AS) more. I guess it is different strokes for diifferent folks. I have always marched to a differnt drummer and that will never change.

That's an interesting point of view. I can't say that I agree with it. I have been an EJami fan from the beginning, but I also watched Sami grow up. In no way do I identify with her, but I do like Sami. The reason I became an EJami fan was because I saw something unique in these two characters in scenes together that I hadn't seen before on Days. Call it a spark or chemistry or whatever, but it was exciting to me as a viewer. And they aren't predictable as a couple. But as far as Sami being at one time plus sized, that has nothing to do with it. I'm not plus sized, not that that should make a difference. No matter what weight she's been, I've never thought of Sami as less than beautiful. Maybe that's just the way that I've been raised, but I don't judge people on their weight nor do I identify with soap opera characters because most of them are insane LOL! Plus when Sami met EJ, Sami was as thin as a rail.

As far as Nicole being gorgeous -- most soap opera actresses look like Nicole - glamorous, tall and thin. No one would watch US soaps if they couldn't stand attractive people. I'm not sure why anyone would hate her for her looks. I actually used to love Nicole as a character before this recent return. She was a clever, snarky survivor. But to me, when they paired her with EJ, she became a whiny, needy wimp always wanting someone to pity her for her sad life. That wasn't the way Nicole was written before.

I'm an EJami fan because I prefer the two of them together. Nothing much deeper than that.

I'm an Ejami as well. I fell in love with EJ and Sami almost from the first time they met, he was in the towel and she was wet from the broken pipe. She was engaged to Austin at the time, but really liked what she saw when she layed eyes on EJ and his dropped towel. From that time on, they were in sexy insinuating scenes together that sparked a magical, electric romance feeling in me. I'm not a deep person - but that tango dance threw me over the couch!

As far as hating Nicole, I don't. I just don't see the same cuddle factor between her and EJ. I don't think it's because she's tall though. I also think tall Marlena had that cuddle factor with John (oh, I do miss them). I liked Nicole better when she was drinking and funny. I also like that Nicole has a girlfriend to talk with now and I think Sami should have one too.

Both Sami and Nicole have done pretty terrible things, but b/c a lot of the things Sami did are in the past and Nicole's are going on right now, Nicole is the one who gets crucified for her actions. My two favorite women on DOOL are Sami and Nicole. I love them [almost] equally. I think both of them are too good for EJ.

I started hating EJ the night of the rape [yet before that, yes, I did like EJami] and because I hate EJ I won't forget about his crimes and how many people he has hurt. IMO EJ has done worse than Sami or Nicole and EJ has only been on the show for what?.... 3(?) years.

I pity Nicole. She doesn't understand that she has a right to be loved and that she can be. And I don't think EJ will ever love her the way she deserves.

And ejami... at the beginning it was lust, then Sami found out who EJ really was and it turned into obsession on EJ's side while Sami found happiness and love in Lucas. I don't see love in this pairing.

So I would say neither of the girls should be paired with EJ. They deserve so much better than him.

I love both Sami and Nichole. I feel that EJ would however be better off without Sami and Nichole. I feel that Sami and Nichole would be better off without EJ. both women are gorgeous in their own way, both have done crappy stuff so it's even there but the chemistry between Sami and EJ is unequalled by anybody or anything else, they light up the screen whether fighting or loving therefore my vote goes to Sami being the one for EJ. Never have I seen two stars react this way off of each other. Not that others aren't nice but nice isn't the same as hot, compelling and magical and that's what Ejami is to me. I don't watch to be educated in morality, I watch for pure escapism and entertainment, if I wanted morality I'd watch one of the Religious shows.

ITA, for awhile I was thinking that Nichole was the perfect Dimera wife and that they were such a great pair, but Ej is so over the top evil and wicked I wouldnt wish that on anyone. Nichole could deal with being a Kirakis but there is not the same wicked evil vengefulness there. Ej truly is a piece of work. As for chemistry, I just dont see it but than I dont find him partiulary attractive, he is ok but built too much like a teenager, too gangly for my likings and there are way too many hunks that are built on the show (And that is my opinion)

I say Sami, of course. To start with, even though Nicole may act like the "perfect Dimera wife", the fact remains that EJ doesn't love her. Nicole triest to comfort him, prove her love, and he is not happy or satisfied. He yells, he throws things. A man inlove doesn't act like that. In comparison, when dealing with Sami, he sits at her level, he listens, he speaks low and calmly. Sami slaps him and he just takes it. I'd hate to see what would happen if Nicole did that.

I like Sami with him because she balances him out and he wants to be a better person when he's with her. She taps into his conscience, his heart. He settled with Nicole. No one is happy when they settle. Sami understands him, and he understands her. Despite their past, they are still the best for each other.

Gosh this is hard. There's something interesting about EJAMI, a Brady & Dimera. There was points in their relationship that I enjoyed watching them. I really liked them in the beginning all the flirty fun stuff. Living across the hall from one another, etc.

On the other hand...it's a shame they wrecked the possibilities with EJOLE because she's capable of doing just as much evil as EJ and they could really be an evil super couple unleashing havoc all over Salem. Now EJOLE will forever have that looming impending doom of the baby swap which will eventually lead to the end of them and Nicole is just so gosh darn needy and gushy over him because she's so afraid of losing him.

I guess I'd have to say EJAMI simply because I know that EJOLE is eventually going to come to a fiery end and is never going to bloom into what I've imagined. If it weren't for that I'd be pro-EJOLE.

Personally, I think the old Nicole (the one that paid Jan to do ole' Victor in) is better suited for E.J. These two could make up the most formidable couple daytime has ever seen. I love Nicole, don't get me wrong...but before Sydney and the baby switch that woman was mean! She and E.J. would be a force to be reckoned with! I think Sami is too attached to her "good" Brady roots to be with E.J. She would make him a wet noodle, whereas the old Nicole could team up with him and rule Salem--maybe even throw old Steffy over and take over the Dimera empire. JMO.

I basically feel the same way. I was never much of a Sami fan until EJ came into the picture. The moment EJ dropped his towel in front of Sami and the expression on her face. I was totally mesmerized. From the moment that EJ and Sami met. They clearly had that instant chemistry which continues to exist in every episode that they are in. As for the question. Yes, Sami is better suited for EJ. Sami can handle EJ as compared to Nicole. IMO, I think that the EJ/Nicole pairing totally destroyed EJ's character. EJ was written as a clueless twit. He was definitely out of character. EJ and Nicole's relationship was primarily based on sex, not love. The summer of 2008 was a clear indication of this scenario. This is one of the reasons why I couldn't get into this couple. IMO, EJ and Nicole was a major turnoff. I like the EJ who could outsmart and think just like Sami. The idea of EJ giving up hope when it came to Sami in order to settle for Nicole killed his appeal for me as a fan.

I personally think the best story is with EJ & Sami. They are my Romeo & Juliet in being a Brady & DiMera. (And I do not think EJ is obsessed with Sami like Stefano was with Marlena, but that's my opinion.)

Nicole needs to be with someone like Brady for her character to grow, again - that's my opinion.

I completely agree with Nicole. Nicole deserves better than EJ, someone who will love her for her, and always has her interest at heart, and can be her night in shining armor. Ej can do none of these things. Bricole all the way!

I like Sami and Nicole. I just dont like Nicole with EJ. Nicole and EJ both are people I dont like together. EJ is unhappy and like a typical jerk he takes it out on Nicole. It isnt Nicole's fault he is unhappy. She didnt purposely get pregnant to "snare" him yet it is what it is and he takes it out on her. (Because EJ doesnt know she miscarried and about the baby switch I am speaking like someone who also doesnt know)
Nicole with EJ reverts back to the victim that she has been her entire life. It makes me sick to see her bow down to him when he is yelling at her. It makes me want to punch them both in the face when he comes in demanding to know where she is or has been and her explaining herself to him like a dutiful little wifey....sick. Nicole may be a great Dimera wife BUT she isnt a strong enough person..woman...to be married to a Dimera. Even if Sami was to become a good Dimera wife...one that supports criminal activities and their mob boss husbands... she would never be the type who would allow him to yell at her and browbeat her and demand her whereabouts on a whim. Nicole is not strong enough for EJ, period.

Nicole is the perfect one for EJ. There is no one else on the show that is more suited for him than Nicole. Ari is such a brilliant actress that it is always great watching her and EJ. They are phenomenal together. I enjoy watching every one of their scenes. Yes, sometimes EJ makes me mad and sometimes Nicole makes me mad but they still produce stellar performances with the material they are given.

EJ cannot control Nicole. He tries to but it never works. Nicole just continues to do her own thing, especially when she knows EJ is in the wrong or if it does not suit her agenda. E.g. He told her never to see or speak to Brady again. The next day Nicole was on the phone to Brady. Not only was she speaking to him, she made plans to see him.

I like the fact that she never cowers when he has one of his shouting spells. She still comes back fighting, making sure that he understands her point of view. I like that they can have an argument without throwing insults at each other. I like that he listens to Nicole when she is making sense. I like the way they can be really affectionate with each other. I especially like the fact that they don't have that awful history together like EJ has with Sami. I like the fact she is not afraid of his dad Stefano and I always enjoy watching Nicole and Stefano scenes. I like the fact that she accepts EJ for who he is.

I will agree that Ari Zukor is an exceptional actress and I absolutely love her but I really love her with Brady best and James Scott has to be about the best actor on that show and while he looks wonderful with Nicole because he looks great with anybody, I think he plays off Sami/Ali better than anybody else. They are dynamite together. If there were no Sami Brady on the show, perhaps Nicole would do but as long as there is a Sami, nobody else will do for EJ, not for him nor for their fans.

I agree with you here, but I don't think it's because Nicole isn't strong enough... she is, she is just too afriad of loosing EJ and Sydney. We've seen her threaten EJ and she backed off because she was afraid of loosing them because to her I think EJ is her support system. No one else was around to tell her how special she was (Brady just came too late) so Nicole fell for EJ's charm. I think once Nicole realizes that she doesn't need EJ, she will be able to stand up to him just find.

I agree that the old Nicole is better suited for EJ. Ari is a talented actress and brought a lot of spunk and grit to Nicole. Her poor character has been reduced to a nervous whiner. I hope after the baby switch they can swing her around to her former witch and have her get EJ back. The two of them together could be the hot, sexy power couple of Salem. Plus she accepts the DiMera side of EJ and can deal with Stefano. I like the idea of them throwing over Stefano and taking over the DiMera empire. An internal battle with Stefano would be exciting to see play out.

I absolutely love Nicole, always have but still don't see the sparks btwn her and EJ like I do with Sami and EJ. Hope they let her stay on the program as I think her and Brady really are sweet together. Of course Brady and EJ look awesome with any woman they are with. JMHO

Sami is the only woman for EJ. EJOLE is one of the most forced pairings I have ever seen (SAFE not withstanding) and the actors have absolutely no chemistry. Besides, in what soap has a baby stealer and interloper been allowed to keep the child she stole and the man she manipulated to keep? Exactly. It's never happened. Nicole will be exposed and out of EJ's life, and let me tell you, I cannot wait!

EJ is fond of the person he thinks Nicole is, but he is in love with Sami.

EJ and Nicole are a match made in heaven, for the simple fact that, just like in simple mathematics, you're supposed to bring like terms together.

Sami is much better suited for EJ than Nicole. As soon as EJ and Sami laid eyes on each other there was a romantic spark between them. The glances they gave each other in their very first scene were unforgettable. The chemistry between James and Ali has been unparalleled on this show.

I can see Nicole as EJ’s partner in crime; no more than that. I don’t see the necessary spark or romantic chemistry between these two. I love both of these actors, but just can’t get into them as a couple.

Why should we care who EJ loves? What has he ever done for Sami that he hasn't manipulated to make himself shine in a brighter light? So, he is a devoted father. Set off the fireworks! Should Sami kiss his feet because he fulfills a parental obligation? I would hope he would be kind to his child.

He is not suited for her and she is not responsible for saving him or for his emotional well being. As far as this so called "chemistry" goes, not all viewers share that opinion.

Sami doesn't need to be with someone who we have seen her repeatedly slap in the face and slug. This isn't the kind of relationship I want to root for.
