I loved that scene! I was yelling "go Lucas" at my screen. We can debate here all day long if Kate went too far and if an innocent man deserves to go to jail, but we can't debate now the fact that others think Dr Dan is a sexual predator. From today's scene it is obvious that tiic think the same thing or they would have never wrote those lines for Lucas to say to him. It's out in the open now for all to see. I am soooo glad that Lucas is back in Salem....the writers did Bryan a disservice by writing around him but I guess they did it for this reason so he can once and for all see that everyone was lying to him, those he trusted and admired. I guess now is when we'll see his dark side come out temporarily, as we know he won't stay dark for long.I wonder how he'll ennact his revenge on Dan and Chloe...and maybe even Kate I can hope...I can't wait to find out. Finallly something to watch on DOOL this summer. I love me my Lucas and whomever said he was an underdog...it's so great to root for the underdog and have him come out with the prize in the end!

This thread is interesting since anti-Daniel posters feel that the show has "read their minds" about how they feel about Dan. In my most recent soap opera mag, a Days source talks about the fallout from Kate framing Daniel. The exact words from the source are that "Kate is developing an obsession with Daniel that borders on the stalker level." Many pro Daniel/danloe posters have been claiming for months that's Kate's behavior was not to avenge Lucas's shame, but her own. I, myself have believed Kate to be a scorned, bitter, humiliated has-been who was tossed aside by Daniel when he met someone he TRULY cared for. I guess the show has read the minds of those of us who believe that Kate is an embarassed ex-lover who wanted Dan back but was turned down cold, and has now become a looney-tune obsessed with the man she can't have. I just LOVE irony!!

Aren't these writers just great at this? They had Lucas call Daniel out on his sexual predator ways (as anti-Danloe fans have been pointing out for months) the same day that Victor calls out Kate on her Daniel obsession (as Danloe fans have been claiming for months). Way to please both crowds!

By the way, the writers should have done more research when they decided to have Lucas use the term "sexual predator" in reference to Daniel. The technical definition of Sexual predator is: Similar to how a predator hunts down its prey, so the sexual predator is thought to "hunt" for his or her sex partners. People who commit sex crimes, such as rape or child sexual abuse, are commonly referred to as sexual predators. For those who believe that the character of Daniel fits this description, I would love to see specific instances of where he "hunted" for his TWO sex partners. Also, Daniel has not committed a sex crime. That's a pretty harsh term to use to describe someone, imo.

i dont mean any offense to danloe supporters but when i saw daniel and chloe "exam" while she was in the hospital gown it immediately brought to mind the school videos i saw when i was a kid that talked about being touched. i dont know if it was the face chloe had or what but it just came off as really creepy to me which is why i have always thought the term sexaul predator fit him. not that he is a technical one i dont guess but that exam really made him look like one to me. also since all of his girlfriends start out his patients it makes it seem like he preys on the weak or something. add that to the fact that hes been unbearably arrogant and that makes it pretty satisfying to see him accused as such.

Actually, when he and Chloe first started developing feelings for each other, she wasn't his patient. Kate was undergoing chemo and Lucas and Chloe were at the hospital a lot. That's when Chloe and Daniel first started developing a connection. As far as the exam, I guess people are never going to see eye to eye and agree on it, and that's fine. However, I've had my lymph nodes examined many times before (albeit by a female doctor), and the exams have been very similar to the one shown on Days. Perhaps some people were upset by it because during the exam is when they both started acknowledging their feelings for each other. Was it the best way to start off a romance? probably not. Have their been far more disturbing romances on Days and other soaps? You bet! Having said that, I just don't see Daniel as a sexual predator...

While he was wrong to have relationships with his patients, I think he does love Chloe and he doesn't deserve to be framed for murder. I think he really did love Chelsea and does fall in love with the women and honestly, not in a predator way. They just don't work out for him. That was funny Lucas saying that to him but at the same time, Daniel is right and I wish Lucas would be the one to find out what all his mom has been up to. It's time she's caught. I agree that Daniel has not been a predator or the definition of one. I think he truly does love the women he falls for.

Perhaps he should be arrogant. Vic called her out on it and Kate admitted. Part of the reason she's doing this is because she couldn't handle Daniel's rejection. I was thinking the same thing while watching yesterday. First no Marlena to be with Sami when Grace died, no Steve and Kayla when Stephanie was kidnapped and now Chloe is supposed to be at death's door and her parents are nowhere in sight.

It was correct as Lucas was telling it, but I can't help but be kind of amused that whenever Lucas gets riled up, he always seems to come off to me as a beligerent little boy yelling his head off than a man defending himself. Definitely agree. Lucas always tries so hard to be a tough guy. To me, he always comes across as a teenie bopper trying hard to get respect and to be a man. As for Dan being a sexual predator, um, that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. He's had like 3 relationships since he's been on the show. He's a nice guy and a good doctor. He was in love with Chelsea and now he's in love with Chloe. Kate threw her old arse at him and she was just a fling, but he was always respectful of her anyway. They just enjoyed each other's company and SHE broke up with Dan!!! He moved on. I don't get the Dan hate. I'm not a huge Dan fan, but dang! Cut the guy some slack. Why all the venom against him??? Although I'm not a big fan of Daniels either, I don't see him as a sexual predator. I agree with the blog before me...he is a good doctor and has done more good than not. And going back Kate was just a fling,but it was only when the writers realized the reaction to Chelsea and Dan that Daniel became so hated. I do believe he did fall in love with Chloe and she is just not a fling. JMHO.

Well, the writers seem to be reading the boards, and the posts of those of us who despise the pervert doc. Today, Kate called him on "preying" on his patients. Which he did do!!!! And not one Dan fan can deny it! Chelsea, Kate and Chloe...not to mention his dearly departed wife...all patients!!!!!

That's what makes him a sexual predator in my opinion. Has the perv never had a lover who wasn't a patient? That is more than sick...it's against the rules of the medical profession!!!!

Even if/when he gets out of jail, if University Hospital doesn't kick him out, there is something majorly wrong!!! (More wrong than the other faux pas the hospital has made in the past.) And he needs to lose his medical license. Even though he didn't poison Chloe, he admitted to everyone who was within hearing that he loved Chloe...his PATIENT!!! The board of the hospital certainly needs to start putting two and two together and realize that this man is endangering their accreditation. I certainly hope that Dr. Craig Wesley says and does something about it when he shows up!!!!

Perhaps the writers ARE reading the boards.....They had victor and lucas call out kate for being obsessed with Daniel and being bitter about him rejecting her advances and moving on with Chloe. They also had Kate herself admit that Daniel "made her a loser".....That's been my opinion for a while so maybe tptb checked out some of the posts from those of us who think Kate has lost her mind:)
