NBC > Reality > The Biggest Loser
chazee

Age: 55
Height: 6'2"
Hometown: Louisville, KY
Occupation: Youth Mentor

Mo may seem intimidating with his size and deep voice, but is really just a big teddy bear. Mo spends almost all of his time working with and dealing with the problems of others. He is a CEO and founder of a youth organization where he works diligently with impoverished youth in the community, focusing on academic excellence, physical exercise, athletic training and competition. He has been featured in the news and in local newspapers for being such an inspiration to the youth in his community.

Mo received college scholarships for Division I football and basketball, but has struggled with his weight over the past 20 years. He feels that if he is successful in losing weight he will set an example for his family members who are overweight, and for the youth that he works with to become healthy and fit. With the help of "The Biggest Loser," he can prove to the youth of Louisville once and for all that with hard work and determination, you can achieve anything you put your mind to.

I am too. I love Coach Mo already, and I haven't even seen the second episode yet (We DVR on Tuesday; watch on Saturday.)

Absolutely adore you, Coach Mo! wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif

I wish that we could have seen more of his coaching of the teams.

Really like this man so far. He is not only encouraging to his partner in purple, but he is encouraging to the entire group. You can tell he's been a coach for a very long time.

Boy, I've liked Coach Mo from the start, but after watching the bonus video that showed the conversation back at the "house" after weigh-in, I'm left wondering "what the heck"?! They just had a fabulous weigh-in, one that kept them all at the ranch for another week and they should have been celebrating that accomplishment, because it was huge! Instead, he wants to have this big discussion/debate about the previous week's vote and how it's been seen as old vs. young. I didn't have a problem with his wanting to talk about it - I just thought it was absolutely the wrong time to do it!

I think Coach Mo is too nice. I would have been thoroughly ticked at my partner for her selfish actions. Instead he just shrugged his shoulders and went with it. His partner put a big X on their back by her actions. Now she is going to drag him down with her. If the whole group wants her out they may have no choice but vote him off too.

Laying low and not making waves may keep him there if it came down to a vote between him and his partner. The first week of eliminations only 1 person from 1 team went home. Obviously they can't send a whole team home every week. Maybe this week they sent 2 home because of no eliminations the previous week.. so that they can average 1 a week. I don't imagine that Julio will be the odd man out for long.

I think he was distancing himself from her as delicately as possible as to not alienate Tracey (if she were to ever get the power again) and also make sure that others knew that her decisions were hers and hers alone.. Keeping the X on her back and not his.

I am so upset Coach Mo injured his back. I think there's a difference between pushing contestants to do their best and pushing them to the point of serious injury. Already this season we have Tracey, who either had a heart attack or something else really serious in the first show; Abby, who has a really serious stress fracture, and now Mo, with some sort of back injury.

I LOVE Coach Mo; if this injury puts him out of the game, I will be really unhappy. They should not push the contestants so hard. I lost 51 pounds with the BodyBugg, walking gently on my treadmill, stretching, and doing light (5 pounds) hand weights. The show and the contestants inspire me, but I have to tune out for the Last Chance workouts, because I think they push the contestants beyond what is safe. There is no need to push these people to the point of injuries that could have life-long consequences, and I don't like watching that, particularly Jillian. She comes across as a sadist who seems to enjou making people suffer, and I don't say that lightly.

Once again Tracey got her way. Coach had to send his friend home so she wouldn't have to send hers home. She really does wear the pants in that relationship. He better grow some real soon because she's gonna throw him under the bus sooner than later.

I felt sorry for Mo this week. I think he is pushing himself to hard. He is pushing himself because he feels he has to lose more than his share in order to save Tracey.

Coach Mo is a truly awesome human being. His family and friends are so blessed to have him in their lives.

Aw, Coach! Why did you do that? You deserved to be there just as much as anyone. But way to go on that home weight loss! You look great! And I loved the clip of you training those kids.

I loved Coach Mo. I'm really sorry to see him go, but I understood why he did it. I hope he gets to his goal for the finale

I saw when they were at the 24 hour fitness place that Coach Mo also had an air cast on his left foot/leg. He was on a recumbant bike. I don't recall them saying anything about his foot/leg. Maybe he was dealing with a stress fracture too.

Yeah, I really liked him too. A natural encourager. He wasn't in it for the money and was true to himself! He is doing great at home! Keep it up coach Mo!

I was sorry to see Mo go home but at the same time I truly believe he was torn up over the game play and he didn't want to be involved in it. He looked great and I hope he does great at the grand finale.

/salute Coach Mo......I hated to see him voted off and really loved his peaceful spirit. Glad to see he is doing well at home!

I hated to see Mo fall on his own sword to protect Tracey. With Mo gone, Tracey now has no one on her side to support her. It's bad enough for the team to lose the one person who gives the most encouragement to everyone. They're now left with the one person seemingly intent on tearing apart relationships that also contribute to successful weight loss.
