BIO
At age two Drew learned to sing "Happy Birthday" for his dad's birthday and, at age five, he asked his parents for a keyboard and piano lessons. When he and his family moved to England in 1989 Drew joined the Anglican choir, was a member of the Royal School of Church Music and was enrolled at the Cleeve Comprehensive School in Gloucestershire, where he performed competitively in the annual Cheltenham Arts Festival.

Returning to the U.S., Drew continued his musical development by taking piano lessons, singing in his high school chorus, and teaching himself to play guitar. After graduating high school Drew worked a variety of jobs: fast food, construction, and landscaping, so that he could continue to pursue his dream of music. While locally he has made a name for himself, he is ready to introduce himself to the rest of America. He feels that his time spent with "America's Got Talent" is "one of the most interesting experiences of my life and winning the competition would be a dream come true!

On another note....I wish Drew would be allowed to sing his own material!

I would LOVE for Drew to win it all! Unfortunately, I don't think anybody can overcome the pushing of certain contestants ( Skinner and Padilla obviously). But it's awesome that he made the finals, so many people have been exposed to his original music on his MySpace and YouTube that I'm sure he'll have an album out before you know it. I'll be voting and cheering though on Monday, I can always hope!! GO DREW!!!!

Drew is very talented and I enjoy listening to him. I hope that he gets signed by a major record label and gets his original songs on the radio ASAP. They are very good and deserving of air play.

Great job by Drew tonight! An unexpected song that he sang beautifully. I never liked that song until now. I've watched it back so many times already! I got my votes in, so I wish him good luck, great job! Can't wait for the results on Wednesday!!

Drew did amazing, and I like him better every single time he sings! I didn't think he had what it took at the beginning, but he as improved so much, and has proved himself to be worthy to get a record deal--which I totally hope happens to him, since he has such a good voice!! Plus, he's uber cute and seems really sweet!!

I agree, the more I listen to Drew's singing, the more I think I would actually buy his music. I hope he concentrates more on recording than Vegas, his music will see a bigger audience. I wish for great success to him.

I am soooo furious that Drew didn't get into the top 5, at least. I can't believe this!!!! He did so great nd was only getting better, he did a lot better than Kevin. Drew really should have won. He needs to get signed by a label because I would definitely buy his album.

you're not the only one who is furious that drew didn't get picked for the top 5. he should have been in the top two with recycled percussion.

i'm sure he'll get picked up by a major label. he's too good a talent to waste away on anything less than a las vegas show stage.

I can't believe Drew didn't make Top 5, I'm so pi**ed! What a joke these results were! He sounded so awesome singing with Thelma Houston, Skinner, couldn't even sing a note, and he wins? I hope Drew gets signed and releases an album, he really deserves it. His original music is beautiful, I listen to it all the time. I want to hear more from him. I guess I'm in the minority of American's who like singers that can actually SING! I love You Drew, you are the true winner in my eyes!!

I wrote that after he sang Monday night, The Pretenders song, I'll stand by you. I thought he kicked butt tonight, too! He has a Myspace page with a bunch of original music on it. Just google it. He also has a few videos on there. They're awesome!

Thelma was awesome tonight...brought back my younger days! And Drew really sang well with her, along Lawrence Beaman...but Kevin didn't hit one right note. I don't understand all the support for him, except that he's such a sweet guy.

double check your spelling. He has a song on there called "Where u are" and another called "waiting" This young man should go far. I absolutely thought that he deserved to be in the top 5! I would buy his CD and pay to see him in concert! I hope someone picks him up-he's a winner in my book!

The heck with his singing (which is brilliant); the boy has those Paul Newman blues!!!

I believe he is 28 or 29 it said he graduated high school in 1998.

I also heard that Shakira took an interest in him after the show. They were seen seen talking backstage.

I don't know that Drew should have won but he was 100 times better than Skinner!!! If he can't make it in singing he should try modeling. He looks great on camera!

I definately agree! Of course I also thought someone would pick up Eli Mattson & I'm still waiting there - but if nothing else Drew could play another Winchester brother (on Supernatural - do a side by side with Drew and Jensen, it's scary!) or Eric on Days if he wouldn't mind acting until his singing took off! (Which I firmly believe it would if he keeps at it!)
