See, I'm seeing a change, but perhaps I didn't think of him as much of a scumbag as you so there wasn't as much of a change needed. Sure, he's a little bit of a womanizer and he's kinda a wimp (when it comes to honesty), but there was a lot of good in him, too. Afterall, he's the first to believe in Leslie. He's the one that sees past her annoying side and see that she has a lot of enthusiasm and that that's a good thing. (Even if he still gets annoyed by her). But I don't actually want Mark to change too much. What I personally want is for Ann to bring out the best in Mark, a best that was already there.
I was trying to read Mark's face when Ann kicked Andy out. I wasn't sure if it was disgust. I was half expecting him to break it off with Ann after that. But it also could have been regret for coaxing Ann to bringing Andy back in.
I loved this episode and I am loving this show more and more and all it's characters. I actually think Leslie shined in this episode. I feel like we're getting the opportunity to understand her better.
I'm definitely gonna watch the episode again. To be fair I may be biased because even though Andy is a complete loser who is delusional (We had dinner tonight!

) Part of me is rooting for him to get it together, and at least impress Ann and make her reconsider him as a boyfriend.
One thing's certain all the characters in the show are becoming multi-faceted which makes watching the show a rewarding experience (especially multiple times). And I agree Leslie was kind of just a clown in the first season but every episode this year has revealed more of her humanity.
I didn't cry at the episode but there was an AWW moment when Leslie was watching Katie(?) play the piano...and also her budding relationship with the cop. (

I guess that's the proper emoticon to use...never used it before)
