Not only is not connected to a plot at all, she's just trying out a kiss? We all know she's not a lesbian. I think I'll fast forward those parts >>

Umm...a kiss is kind of how experimentation along those lines start. If she's not sure, or just curious, that's kind of to be expected...
And we don't know that she's not a lesbian any more than she does. (I'm not saying they'll go there or not with Claire, but she's the only character it would really fit with.)
I'm not overly curious about this minor point, and it's obviously a minor point in the story no matter how much the spoiler sites try to push it as a major point, but it's not something that really bothers me one way or the other.

The kiss doesn't bother me to tell you the truth neither does the lesbian part. Its Claire boring college plot altogether that annoys me. Why couldn't they have just given her an ABC Family spin off about Claire going to college, spare us please. We want Heroes saving lives or saving the world, not going to college. Plus she's still whining about being normal, together it makes me sad.

I don't think Claire is as bad as some make it out to be and I really feel she may be better this time since S1,But yes I have to admit that I am looking forward much more to the other stuff in this and genrally other new episodes it seems.

you know the thing about claire is they waste way to much time on her sappy stories. they could have completely left her off the show and it wouldnt have made a bit of difference except there would be more time to spend on the others.
maybe the kiss she has is with the barrell of a shotgun

See that's the problem , you want a show about super heroes. Tim Kring wants a show about how people might deal with Super Human abilities and try to live a normal life. It's about their struggle to find a center in their life. At least i think that's the idea that spawned this theme, and what sets them apart from Marvel and Dc.
Anyways!
go go heroes season premier ftw!

Well I understand he wants to add normal mixed with saving the world. But do we really want to watch a girl going to college? Seeing Matt go back to being a police is good, seeing Peter go back as a paramedic is good, seeing Noah go back to his life is good. Its just if I wanted to watch a girl do college stuff I would have tuned into one of those boring ABC Family shows. Thats why they have Greek isn't it? Thats the show about kids at college right? Just push Claire into that show and she'd be perfect for it.

In other words...you want everybody going back to a normal life, except in select cases where those normal lives would annoy you?
Peter=Paramedic is no more interesting than Claire=Collegian.

Its kind of hard to explaine this, maybe its also the fact that I feel she's being shoved down our throwts. We didn't need a whole plot deveoted to college, we could show a few shots of her at college. But why give a whole episode to it? I'm just annoyed by it all I guess you could say. That and her character is always the same, ok lets say I've grown annoyed by her altogether there I said it

What world are you living in? Are we watching the same show?
If you don't think watching Peter being a paramedic is worlds more interesting than watching claire doing anything then you must also enjoy watching paint dry.
Just look at last nights episode.
It's crazy every other scene was claire.
They would show Peter, then claire, HRG, then claire, Nylar, then claire, Matt then claire.

Claire going to college is a realistic situation. They have been hinting at this for a while so it's easy to see why they chose college to be Claire's retreat to a normal life. Now Peterfangirl86 you might be upset with that story because it is SOOOooo boring. Claire in college COULD be interesting but the way it was done is lame. Claire is meeting lame people and reacting in lame ways, so I agree that Claire's college experience is LAME. But just know that it didn't have to be that way.You shouldn't automatically think that a girl going to college belongs on ABC family, don't forget about "Girls Gone Wild".

Actually, Claire's going to college was interesting- as anyone I've spoken with about the premiere, who wasn't predisposed to hate Everything Claire, has said.

I respect your opinion on that synch but I thought it was the worst plot of the entire episode but than that's me. Though that being said Claire wasn't half as annoying as she normally was to me, maybe her room mates drowned that out some how.

I'm getting excited about this season... also recently it sounds like there has been scenes of Sylar at the carnival and rumors of a love interest. I have a feeling it is Lydia.

Is Nathan gone for a while???....The preview for next weeks episode has Nathan getting burried which is the scene shown in other previews of him getting knocked out unconcious then Sylar comes out of the grave,In this episode it says"Sylar EMERGES and trying to remember who he was"and Pasdar(Nathan)is not being billed in the list as starting/guest-stars,..Is Syl-Than over already with Sylar back in his body and Nathan disapearing!?.

I think Claires just fine, it's the room mate I'm having trouble with. She obviously can't be trusted and I'm sure will be the impetus to Claire leaving college.
Already bored with Sylar. And because Angela seems so disconnected with her sons (she accepts her sons murdurer with welcome arms) just emphasizes she doesn't understand the concept of family. It's just ridiculous to think a mom wouldn't want revenge...As for Nathan, he seems to be gone, gone, gone.
I liked Parkman with his family, the sylar brain farts, not so much. The only intrigue there is if Janice can help him.
Loved Samuel... he's obviously wanting to use the heroes to replace lost family members. And he seems "very knowledgeable" about what a "empath" can do. That was cool. Loved the compass, whatever it means, lol. But nice touch.
Loved seeing the haitian again, loved how he's loyal to HRG. And while I was never a Tracy fan, I do love that they are connecting and helping each other. I think that will be a good partnership.

I think Clairs' 'friend' is an SG and is part of the carnival and is working for Samuel. I also believe she, while did not kill her ex-roomate, may have something to do with it.

I agree completely. I think she can manipulate the will of others. It would make sense that she get Claire's roomate to kill herself, so she could get closer to Claire. As seen in episode 3, I think she even manipulated HRG into inviting her to lunch with him and Claire. It wouldn't surprise me if that's how she and Claire end up sharing that kiss.

Bi Until Graduation
It's a college thing that chicks just do, and I don't complain about things like that often.
Watch S1 of Californication to "enhance" this episode.

From the episode description:
"Meanwhile, Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) finds an unexpected way to connect with Emma (guest star Deanne Bray), who would prefer to stay distant."
Could this be Peter establishes empathy again and is surprised to see that he has Emma's ability in addition to whatever other ability he has at the time (might still be super speed)?

^I don't see how that means that it could lead to Peter having more than one power again,I think that Peter will just get her power and they have a scene where they use the power at the same time in a beautiful way But then she freaks out about him getting hers and don't like having an ability.

This season has been excellent so far. I haven't been this excited for heroes in a long time. I agree that claires plot is boring but I'm hoping they change it and make that friend of hers a carny cause that will help spice it up a little. Just to clarify on why I think Clairs part is boring before I get attacked. First everyone else in the show is trying to live a normal life but obviously isn't there all using there powers and making things interesting. Matt with Sylar, Peter using his powers to save people, HRG is doing what he does. Claire is the only one who is actually living a normal life the only thing she did was jump from the window.
Tracy seems a lot more interesting this time around and I liked her and HRG connecting. The whole carnival thing sounded so stupid before the season started but it's actually very interesting and has me wondering just what the hell there up to. What I absolutely loved is how Matt/Sylar were, Sylars character is just insanely funny the way he is. He was like this as Sylar to but rarely got to joke around because he was to busy killing or trying to be killed.
Can't wait to see where this season takes us.

This episode sounds really boring. I just read an advanced review here
http://heroesspoilers-odi.blogspot.com/200...-blindness.htmlI'm kind of torn whether or not to see next week's episode. Claire trying out for sorority is pointless and lesbian kiss is already known so nothing good to expect from her... But I am really liking Emma and want to see her more. Why is it that every episode Emma shows up Claire gets boring to the point I just want to switch channels? Claire already kind of ruined it for me in "Ink" when Emma first showed up. (Although I liked Claire a lot in "Acceptance") And I am not excited about Sylar too but at least he won't bore me. I guess I will still watch the episode next week but only for Peter and Emma's sake.
And there seems to be no Tracy next week. Which is very disappointing. Instead of seeing Claire trying to be sorority girl I want to learn more about Tracy. There has never been an episode focusing on her past yet. So we get a break from Tracy every other episodes but we can never get rid of Claire? What sort of power does she possess on those writers and producers?

I'd love it if we had more Tracey in place of Claire. She's my favorite female of the show. I mean lesbians are great and I don't mind seeing them kiss on the screen, however we know its just to shove more Claire down our throwts. Who wants to see Claire in a sorority and kissing other females? I want to see more connection to Samuels plots and Peters plots and Traceys.

Here's an interview that Hayden gave last week on the "kiss". It's very interesting, but you'll have to fast forward to 5:05 before you hear the spoilers of this. The interview was great. Here it is:

I can't wait to see it and I hope that a lot of people aren't going to be upset with it. However, if they are, then this is really going to be a real Turkey for us Canadians so to speak because this episode next Monday is on the Canadian Thanksgiving and if people dont like it; it's going to ruin the mood up here. So I hope it doesn't become a real turkey scene to ruin Thanksgiving up here
