So I don't post on here a lot, but I thought of something fun for us to do for the big anniversary. I thought people could nominate their favorite SAFE moments, and then I will set up a poll where people can vote for their top ten safe moments, and I will make a video for the top ten? What do you guys think? These moments have to be broken down. For example, when SAFE make love for the first time, what part of that is your favorite? Or their first date, again what part (mine being the tickle scene)!

I could reply to this at least a hundred times, but I'll start with the 3rd airport scene where he says "Do you know how happy I was to see you?" and then goes in for the kiss...

My fav scene would be the shirt-ripping scene, just after coming home from the airport. The second fav would be either the "what would you like your construction guy to do for you" or the "smokin' hot pain in the ass" scene, I can't decide.

Maybe we should send Ali and Galen cards - isn't the first anniversary the paper anniversary?

Great idea!!!! A scene I absolutely adore is Samis dream and when Rafe rescues Sami out of the water on their first date. As well when Rafe is talking to sister A about Sami at the convent. Swoon worthy. "She sweet but impossible, tough but kinda fragile... shes beautiful that's it she's just beautiful" Rafe on Sami

I agree as indicated by my signi below...also one of my favs is when he comes back from DC and they see each other at the Brady pub since their first kiss and you can tell they missed each other and wanted to kiss but he asks her about something to eat and then offers coffee...just tender and sweet, imo.

Great idea! I'll rewatch their scenes before I decide what specific ones were favorites, but many of my favorite ones are already mentioned here.

i loved there second kiss a the brady pub.... it was just so intense

i love the airport scenes.. where sami puts her heart out there

the fist time they made love... so romantic

and the construction guy scene... you could see how much they wanted each other

what about he first time they said i love you .... under sad curcumstances but still nice

or we have more reason scenes like where they almost kiss at sami's door...

and sami's dream ...so nicee

Everyone has brought up great scenes. How about the scene at the Brady Pub when Sami explains why EJ will always be part of her life because of Johnny and she more or less tells him it's his "get out of jail free" card. But, Rafe says "I'm not going anywhere. I'd be crazy to leave someone as wonderful as you. Now, please pass the butter." So cute. So Rafe. So nice.

Ok, I have one. When they were in the Safe house and the scene when Rafe said I can't let these feelings get in the way.

2nd their godbye, he left then came back with he Bears caps.

3rd When they were on the docks and he said he talked to Roman and he thinks hose DiMeras are dangerous, and Sami hit him playfully because that's what she's been saying all along. Also the almost kiss there.

4th the whole making love scene. Every time, hard to choose a favorite.



That one was nice

The bathroom incident, where Rafe has swiped her clothes and their fighting through the bathroom door. She hears him eating and ask if she can have some, and he holds up the bag and says 'sure, here.'

The 'elvis has left the building' comment.

The first date, when their lying of their backs talking about Rafe dreams of becoming an astronaut. And her saying he could have made, but then maybe they would have never met. And him saying sure they would've because they were fated.

The first loving incident where she has kissed his chest, and he cups her face, and she kisses his hand, and then he pulls her face and mouth to his.

Him talking about being hungry. And her saying something about if this is his way of asking for dinner and him saying, 'yeah, can I have a burnt grilled cheese, please.' And her saying, 'it wasn't burnt, it was cajun style.'

The first time they met and her trying to come up with excuses why Hilda was asleep. Him dipping his finger in the cup, tasting it and saying she had some explaining to do.

These aren't all of mine, but there a few.

Oh my, there are so many wonderful scenes to choose!

Just a few off the top of my head....

From the safehouse, when Sami pulled his hand to her, feeling the baby's kick for the first time. And him saying it could be her stomach growling. Haha.

The shaving cream Santa beard on Christmas morning, and her giving him her lucky penny from Grampa Sean.

When he had a fever, and she gave him the sponge bath to help break it....after it broke and she put her hand on his face saying "we did it" and he caressed her hand with his thumbs as he thanked her. Such a sweet scene!

On NYE when he told her he wasn't sorry to be there.

When he held Grace for the first time and she smiled at him.

The entire Christening scene. "You named her after me?" plus the "talk" he had alone with his Amazing Grace.


It's quickly becoming apparent to me that I love all the scenes with SAFE!

Anyone who knows me knows that my favorite SAFE scene is when they are at the airport and he says that "there's this girl..." and Sami tells him he should probably tell her cuz its the best news she has heard in a very long time and then jumps in his arms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG, such a pivotal turning point for them, tears me up every time.

Playful...When Sami realizes that you can get out of the window and Rafe says, "I can...you can't" and everything that ensues with the tree, etc. You can tell thye love each other.

Family....when Rafe is talking about Grace teething and needs pizza, tacos etc.

Sad...the moment when Grace dies or the scene in the chapel. So sad.

Love...when Rafe falls and Sami tells him her fears and htey comfort each other.

Heartbreaking...when Sami asks for her keys.

Angst...the whole airplane and coming home scenes when the viewer knows they love each other and want to be together. The almost kiss...OMG.

Getting to know you...the hug on the cookie poker night and the entire cookie poker scenes.

The problem is I could go on and on and on and on....Thats' why I love them so much.

Everyone has mentioned great scenes, I dont know if there is a "favorite" so many stand out for different reasons and different times in the story.

I will add a couple:

When Grace was sick at the hospital, Rafe finally got there and Sami goes running to him totally forgetting about Ej!!

At the java cafe after the long talk when Rafe says "now pass the butter..."
Later Sami going on about the crosiants
than Rafe saying "now on to my next mission..."

the doggies playing poker and the peppermill bit

I have so many favorites and most of them that I can think of off the top of my head have been mentioned and I know someone has mentioned the first date but I loved when they were back at Sami's townhouse and the playful scenes where they were kissing and tickling and then playing scrabble.

What a fabulous way to celebrate Safe's one year anniversary. Reading through everyone's favorite moments reinforces all the reasons this is Salems most endearing couple. I find myself smiling, giggling and shouting our, "Oh yeah! That's my favorite too!" as I reflect on each contribution to the list. Honestly how can we choose when each Safe moment is special
I love them all, but especially these:

When Rafe (in that black muscle shirt) has Grace nestled in his arms and tells Sami, "I want her to know she has a father who will be there for her; who is in her corner. And a mother and father who are together." So incredibly tender and sweet because he looks so manly and yet is so vulnerable.

The airport when Sami yanks Rafe close to her so he can't escape and has to listen to her and the smile he can't hide when she does.

When he took her hand and looked at her pricked finger

Anytime Sami hits Rafe playfully on the arm in her moments of frustration with him.

The whole hysterical proposal spat, especially his expression right after Sami says, "Are you asking me to marry you?"

And I love the scene where they are working things out from the Emily fiasco and Rafe tells Sami after she has gone on about how strong he has been for her and her children and he replies, "It's not me, it's you. I get my strength from you."

Any moment that EJ witnessess, and you see that face he gives. Can't you see the egg on his face, priceless....

The latest, when Rafe asks Sami about her dream and she tells him that she's not telling him about her dream.

my favorite scene(s) are:

In the pub shortly after her arrival back in Salem after WP, when he just wants to be with her and he says "Can I get you somthing to eat? and she says "no" and he says "coffee?" and it is with such heartful desire wanting to BE with her...it's amazing.

And then my other favorite is the construction scene, where he is on the couch and she is falling on top and she sort of "flips" her legs up with her cute shoes and then "throws" her hair back and they kiss. So sweet, so romantic, so SAFE!!!

I will start the poll tonight, but instead of everyone seeing the results you must PM me your top three choices after I narrow down and make a list with numbers. I don't want people to see the totals until the video is made. The video will not be revealed until October. But I want to get started on it soon to make it GREAT! I may need help with some of the newer scenes to tell me what day they were on, anyone up to help me when I get the totals? I will make the video but I might just need a helper!

OK where to start? Like most others I have a load of favorites, many of which have already been posted. Some that haven't been mentioned include:

The scene following the non proposal and Sami says that it would be wonderful if Rafe could adopt Grace but she doesn't know how it could happen without going to court and that could cause problems and Rafe tells her that she should sit down because he has something to tell her and it will be a shock. He proceeds with " You're rrrriiiight," and Sami responds with "say that again!" and it goes on from there, including "I know I never thought I'd say it..."

The first time that Rafe is left alone with Grace who starts to cry and he reluctantly picks her up and tries to quiet her, when Sami comes back in the room and asks what he's doing?

The fight and apology resulting from him finding her questioning Ari about Emily. The love shines through so well, and the evident shock that they are both feeling after the intensity of making love.

And of course the that wonderful scene when Rafe shows up at the townhouse for the first time and Sami sees him and totally forgets that EJ is in the room.

OK I could do this for hours.

Fav scenes - there are so many, let me just add a few now:

1)The part where Rafe tells Sami he loves her with all of his resilient heart!!

2) The scene where Sami sits on Rafe's lap and tells him how happy she is, how she spent her life looking for love and now she has everything she wants (I believe it aired on 6/2 right before Grace went to hospital).

3) Safehouse scenes - staring contest; Rafe stealing clothes; feeling the baby kick after she fell; giving her the hat before leaving

4) the first "i love you scenes"

hmmmm, i think there will be some hard descisions on your part or this will be one very long video!!!

I think mine is when he's drunk in safe-house and she's washing his body.

this is a great idear-I agree with every ones favorites It's great to refresh one's memory of them all
but I have to say after all is done "the ripping of the shirt" just blew me away.I'll be happy to see any of them though in memory of their Safe Anniverary

Two of my favorite scenes, i don't think yet mentioned happened the first time they made love-- in that two day span.

The first one is after the loving, their laying with each other and he laughs. She questions him on why he's laughing and he says something like, "I was just thinking about the first time we met. You were, what's the word, HOSTILE." I love that comment.

The second one is the next day, again they are laying with each other, and he says something about it's a waste. She wonders what he means and he says all that time in the safe house, and we could have been doing this...

Yes......let's just make one big, long video....all the scenes mentioned...that would make me really happy!

It's really hard for me to choose my fave SAFE moments 'cause I love all their scenes together. I love the romantic, playful and hilarious banters.

Man! I miss their lovin' so much. Geez! I hope they get back together soon, if not, I will really really really be so annoyed w/ those writers.
