I was really happy when I heard about the casting of Robert Knepper, since he is an awesome actor. And after watching the season premiere, I must say that Samuel seems to be a great addition to the show. I think they've managed to create a very intriguing character and I think his scenes showed a lot of promise. It will be interesting to see how he interacts with the other heroes in upcoming episodes, hopefully he'll stick around for a while.

He has the potential to be a great villain. "Good intentions gone bad" come to mind with his character. Or a "means to his madness." The man seems more than willing to overlook humanity to get what he wants. What makes his character so complex is he truly thinks he needs to shape or control the supers. It's like there is no such thing as right or wrong. Example would be he has to do a wrong to get the right he needs.

I can't wait to see more of his character as it develops. He is intriguing and rather mysterious.

So far I'm liking him better than all the villains right now because his charm and ability to get what he wants from people. Terrakinesis is also a cool power.

He has the ability of charm and awesomeness perhaps. Terrakinesis is very cool though.

Robert is such an amazing actor, Samuel became my favorite character immediately. I love how they introduced the character in the premiere, and I can't wait to see him have scenes with the other Heroes as well. The scenes with Hiro where really nice (I can't stop laughing at "That would be bad"). I already can't imagine the show without him, Samuel rocks! Oh, and I love the accent as well!

Yay, glad there are so many Samuel fans here! Can't wait for tonight's episode, hope we get to learn more about his powers.

Well I think Samuel is going to be a great villain and will see more of his character tonight. I cannot wait to see what happens. Robert Knepper seems to be a vert talented actor and he was also a great villain on Prison Break. I never saw that show, but I heard he made everyone hate his character, so his new villain role as Samuel is going to be great. Is it 8 PM or on already or on another channel on my satellite yet?

Uh yea he was a creep on Prison Break. When I was watching Heroes it was so weird, cause I'm used to the southern accent and him being a ped.

Yep! a bisexual rapist/murderer ped. Did awesome in that role. Creeped me out in every scene that he was in.

On topic: Samuel impressed me the most in tonight's episode. Such a multi layered character so beautifully executed.

On Star Trek. I have seen it and ZQ totally becomes Spock. There is no semblance to Sylar whatsoever.

I agree, I see them as seperate characters and ZQ does them both so well....

Anyway, back to SAMUEL.... he totally ROCKED it tonight.... I so saw the whole demolish the house thing, but it was amazing non-the less.....

Yeah, I think so too. When I hear that Irish/Scottish/something blend I picture like foggy moors, and mysterious elements. The accent just suits him so well.
