can anyone tell me why kate and romans children are never mentioned? also, is philip still legless? sure looked like he had one during the melanie interlude.

Philip grew a new one...lol. You know, like how the plastic surgery he had, made him shorter.

The last time one of Roman and Kate's children were mention is when Philip was in the hospital after the shooting. Sami called to check up on him and claimed to be his sister "Cassie Brady." Rex hasn't been mentioned in years. Rex disappeared after a nasty break up. Cassie last time she was seen to my knowledge is when the fake Tony made it seem like the citizens of Salem were being killed, while he was actually holding them hostage. Cassie was one of the first to disappear, I think. She was seen later on the island alive. But seemed not to return to Salem with the rest of the Salemites.

Although I liked the actors who played the part of the space twins that entire s/l was so out there. It made more sense that they were Marlena and Tony's children than Kate and Roman. Also making them Kate and Roman's made it impossible to be romantically linked to anyone on the show since all the men were Kate's children (Philip, Lucas, Austin) and everyone else is a Brady.
As far as Philip's leg goes, that was another s/l that got dropped IMO. But it too was stupid from the get go.

Yes, Mimi and Rex were together for quite a while. Mimi got pregnant, and Rex kept talking about how the last thing he would want is a baby, so she had an abortion. It made it difficult to get pregnant later. Princess Belle, who was angry at Mimi (more like angry at herself and taking it out on Mimi) was talking to Mimi about it and Rex overheard. He left Mimi and Salem...which was pretty stupid...they didn't even get to talk about why she had the abortion.


Oh, and the yummy Patrick Lockhart was Mimi's brother.
