It wasn't enough that you support a child molestor, but now you have to whine that SNL finally did with Obama what they've done with EVERY President since 1974?

Is Obama above mockery or something? Grow up.

I've only read a couple of your posts, but you really make me wonder if you're a plant by the DNC. I'm convinced they've hired many people to go to message boards to suck up to Obama at every chance. You reek of that. Especially when you trash & blame conservatives for having a problem with pedophilia...which BTW, I notice you don't have the guts to go back into that thread & admit you were horribly wrong.

Oh, and before you start complaining about how I'm some right-wing extremist, you might want to think before you type. The people of this country are not forced to kiss Obama's rear end and fall lock-step with whatever he wants. Furthermore, I'm more of a libertarian/conservative...which I doubt you even have a clue what that means. But I have voted for Democrats in the past, and I probably will in the future.

I just have a sense of decency that you are so obviously missing since you seemingly don't have a problem with rape & child molestation....as long as it's a liberal, or a liberal tells you it's ok.

The negative checklist was extremely unfair, Obama has been working on all the issues since taking office that he promised to work on - why is the media insisting on criticizing him at every turn -- it's rare to hear anything positive and yet there are so many positives things that Obama is accomplishing. He is working very hard, and doing a great job. I know many people who voted for Obama who feel this way and are becoming very irritated with the way the media is trying to portray Obama. The Republicans are going to regret creative this vindictive, racially motivated attack on Obama as they are going to create a division in this country that will only serve to weaken America and give a bad impression of us to people in other countries.

You are so right!! He HAS accomplished great deal in his short time as president. He has managed to quadruple the federal debt from just nine months ago. At the U.N. recently, he managed to get the president of France to basically refer to him as a pansy. He has managed to continue campaigning at every opportunity, while at the same time obfuscating leadership, a tightrope indeed. He narrowly managed to keep one of the four tax cheats he nominated to his cabinet. He maneuvered a magnificent bow to a foreign king. He made certain that there were enough lab coats to go around for that all important photo opportunity this week. He made the tough decision to completely ignore the Dahlai Lama today. His valiant deeds are lengthy, and dare I say it, legendary. Remember the Final Four picks? He stepped out on a limb, and picked Carolina. Yes he CAN!

But the biggest accomplishment, and arguably the most important effort of recent months: he brought the 2016 Olympics to Rio De Janeiro. He is truly the master of his domain.

Well, gee there's that weakness showing again. Since when are people required to agree lockstep with ANY politician??? And, you know, I didn't realize MLK died so that the first black president's supporters could scream "OMG RACISM" when things got difficult. It's disgusting that so many people are belittling REAL racism by using the word as a battering ram to bully anyone who dares question the POTUS.
The Democratic Party is quickly becoming the Boy Who Cried Wolf in using the race card and I think Dr. King would be severely disappointed that such an ugly statement is being used as a political tactic to whine when people don't follow a politician like good little sheep.

Wouldn't it be just as racist if we placated him by following lock-step with everything he wanted just because he was black? Isn't racial equality something this country has struggled with? So, why should Obama be treated any differently than any other president? He is NOT the first president to face opposition.

Besides, this tactic only reduces Obama to a skin color and there's much more to him than that. I didn't even vote for him & I feel sorry for him that people are being so disrespectful by doing this to him. With friends like this, who needs enemies?

And for the record, I didn't vote for McCain either. Both were horrible candidates and this country deserves better.

ProAmerica, I would also like to add, that the division in this country that you speak of is exactly what the Democrats and Republicans want. Neither of them give a crap about us. They WANT us to be at each other's throats. That way, they don't really have to fix anything. Instead, they pit us against each other with propaganda from both sides.

Just look at how hostile Rickcritt is toward his own fellow citizens who happen to disagree with him! Hell, he even stooped so low as to defend a rapist just because he thought it was the liberal thing to do! (I'd like to know when Rosie O'Donnell became a Republican, because she has came out & aired her disgust over the defense of Polanski as well. And when did Chris Rock become a Republican??? ohmy.gif )

We're all just collateral damage between the Democrats & Republicans.
It's about time people got over themselves & realize it's about the country, NOT about a political party. Real change isn't going to come from someone with a D or an R behind their name.

It's 100% true.

The divide in this country is our single greatest problem. Nothing else even comes close.

"United we stand, divided we fall." Never have those words been more true.
