What is the deal with her looking all cross-eyed?!? I thought maybe it was just me, but several people I have talked to about Days have also mentioned it.

I know she just killed her husband and is on the run but she looks scary to me.

SHe doesn't look cross-eyed to me! She's got great eyes! They totally draw me in...

OMG......ITA...She is big and rough looking and scary as hell. I look at her and I don not see romance...not at all. I see tats and a Harley...packing a blade as, well!!!!!!!

I had thought when Crystal was on Days before that sometimes her eyes looked crossed, but I never tried to find out anything about it. I just went searching and found this article from 2002:

I have always, and still do, think that Crystal is absolutely beautiful! It is very childish and rude to make snide remarks about someone's natural looks - it's not like she went and got a bad boob job!

I dont really notice cross eyes, but she certainly has aged. How long has it been since she was on the sho?

A newbie had this on the main board too, so I'll repeat here.

Maybe I noticed something once in a fleeting moment, but I have been watching her since Jan on Guiding Light and can honestly say I have not seen that once at all.

I think it's a temporary thing because she probably is overtired. She had to go through the cancellation of her show, get another job, move her family from the east coast to Calif in July and stay behind in NJ with friends for 4-5 weeks while shooting the end of GL till Aug 11, which was a tough outdoor shoot and not pleasant.

GL died on a Tues, say goodbye at several cast parties, fly to Calif reunite with two boys 9 & 6, still unpack boxes from moving and start taping Days on Monday morning. New character, new people to work with, plus trying to start a web soap in the fall.

So the body is telling her to get some sleep. She probably taped these last 2 weeks of shows in the first few days on the Days set. I'm sure once she gets settled in people will only notice that her eyes are green.

I have a cousin with a wandering eye. It gets worse when he's tired.

She, herself, confirms she still has the occasional 'wandering eye'. And that she had surgery for crossed eyes when she was younger.

BTW, no one is making fun of her. Just making observations. It's easy to notice if you pause your TIVO or DVR.
