They seemed really awkward towards eachother today,well mostly Chloe did,seemed jumpy,all their scenes just felt off to me.

Now that the "illicit love affair" story is gone the writers have run into the problem people have been pointing out for a long time. They have nothing in common, there is no relationship without hormones, and frankly it's a bad pairing because they have no real chemistry with their clothes on.

They don`t have a real relationship just hot sex, what more is there?

They were portraying them as sexually frustrated that's why they were jumpy.

Chloe and Daniel are amazing and even though I did notice the awkwardness between them that day it hasn't lasted. Fridays episode they were right on target again... If people could look beyond their sexual relationship they would see so much more. I think their stuck on the amazing hot hot hot love scenes and can't see beyond.

What would they see? Not in-depth conversations, not any emotions beyond lust...just the same three stilted conversations.

I think actors themselves feel/know the reaction viewers/posters have for this couple.

Personally I think they have great chemistry, with or without their clothes! I like the way they interact with each other and have since the get-go. In fact, their attraction to each other is one of the main reasons I started watching Days again. I know that there are a lot of peeps that dislike them, and to each their own, but to me these two characters seem more "real" than a lot of the other ones on Days -- and I like NB and SC together -- they just seem very comfortable with each other.

But to get back to the topic of them seeming jumpy -- yes, I did notice that, and I think it was partly because they were trying to resist each other and were fighting their attraction, and also because I think the writers are trying to set up the next "chapter" with them and are starting to set up some tension between them -- like the "wanting to start a family" and "Victor hating Chloe" issues. It's all part of the typical Days angst! But for me as a Danloe fan, if they are involved then "it's all good"!

I have enjoyed watching them just being together. It was nice to see them happy for a change, laughing, hugging and so in love. They brought a smile to my face. Any sex scenes is a bonus. The chemistry is still there between them even without the angst.

Yes, but considering Victor's parting shot yesterday as he left the apartment, don't you wonder what he sees that we don't? Victor may be cynical and controlling, but he's no fool.

I think they're setting the stage for whatever relationship problems are going to crop up to open up the possibility of Dan's involvement with whoever is lined up to be his next conquest. Plus whatever Victor's up to...which will probably be pairing Dan with Carly come to think of it.

You know it's coming. It'll give Bo an excuse to punch Daniel like Lucas and Philip. I can't wait for the montage of Brady-Roberts-Kiriakis men taking turns punching Daniel.

I think you could be right about Dan and Carly.KC did mention something a while back about them being in a story together in the fall.We all know Danloe won't stay happy for long before something comes between them and hopefully puts a permanent end to them.The more people who punch Dan the better.Maybe he will end up receiving so many blows to the head that he will end up with brain damage and has to leave town to receive special treatment.

What else is there to do with them other than the soft porn sex? Does anyone actually think that they were put together for any other reason? I just don't enjoy these two together, I tried to figure out why, when I find so many other couples on this show incredibly watchable. (and watch and rewatch their scenes.) I think my problem is that their whole relationship is so cheap-pornesque, I mean couple sees it other in exam room - cue sex scene? Not much different than girl sees hot pizza delivery guy or guy sees hot girl at copier - sex ensues.

Neither of these characters has been developed at all, the Doc just moves from one flavor of the month to the next and Chloe has cheap sex and then falls "in love" until her next opportunity for cheap sex with the next guy. Blech, no wonder all their scenes just make some of us feel skeevy.

I personally think Chloe should slow down,why did she get engaged so fast?Ever since her return in 2007 she has been in some kind relationship,she returned to town claiming her and Brady were divorced,though they were not,started sleeping with Phillip,then came Lucas,then she slept with Daniel,but married Lucas,her marriage to Lucas was pretty much over,but then agreed to marry Daniel,she has bounced from one relationship to the next without taking a break and giving herself a moment to digest things.

The fact that they got engaged so quickly tells me that Chloe's still not thinking and Victor's words were prophetic. I don't think she loves Daniel any more than she loved Lucas. She's running from something within herself and I think Daniel's going to find that out the hard way.

Danloe story is unlike the typical boy meets girl, boy takes girl out on dates and then they fall in love. Their story is differnt in the sense that they were both seeing other people when they met. I started taking notice of Daniel and Chloe the moment they started sharing scenes together, so I know their was plenty of build up before they got to the stage of falling madly in love with each other. I had zero interest in Chloe and Lucas and zero interest in Daniel and Kate. Danloe were both attracted to each other way before the day Daniel examined Chloe.(He did not grope Chloe).

I actually loved their story line. It was so soapy, it got boring for me whenever they were showing too much of Chloe and Lucas. I never thought she loved Lucas and I don't think Lucas really loved her either, he just thought he did.

I am also still puzzled why some say that Daniel moves on from one woman to the next when he has only slept with 2 women since he has been in Salem, Kate and now Chloe and, Chloe is the only one he said he loved and the only one he wants to marry.

We see couples differently obvious and there is nothing wrong with that However when I look for a couple, I want buildup and suspense in order for me too root for them, they can`t just jump in the sack and say " I love you". chemistry is good, but chemistry and no decent story is no couple IMO. Well said dee2anne. But, I do agree with the original post saying that their scenes on Friday were a little awkward. And, I know that they were supposed to have sexual tension and all, but Friday's scenes just seemed off. Normally I love them together because they actually have chemistry. Unlike Chloe and Lucas... blah!!

I totally agree.I think Chloe needs to be on her own for a while.How could she possibly know what she really wants,when she hasn't taken the time to be on her own and think about things?I think she really needs to rediscover who she is before jumping into another marriage.

I suppose we have to agree to disagree. I too like build up and suspense but Danloe did not just jump in the sack and suddenly started saying, 'I love yous'. Without telling their story all over again, I thought there was enough build up and was wondering at one point, when the two were going to admit they had feelings for each other. As to Lucas and Chloe, you could tell that Chloe was not really in love with Lucas even before Daniel came on the scene. They both were on the rebound from other relationships and I think Chloe saw Lucas as safe. 'Lucas wouldn't hurt me', I think that was what she said once.

I don't like when romances are rushed. I like to watch the couples fall in love. I want to be convinced that they are in love before they actually say the words to each other. IMO this is what happened with the Danloe story. I was convinced Daniel loved Chloe before he even uttered the words. I do accept the fact that some will continue to not like this couple and some will continue to love them.

I think it's stupid that Danloe is trying to abstain from sex until they are married. They've already ravaged each other.

I mean I reacted when I saw Daniel walk out in just a towel and when it dropped to floor, I went oh my....!!! Chloe was right there in the room with him and they both had to keep their hands off each other until her annulment came through. I suppose she was trying to decide what to do. Pick up the groceries or jump his bones.

It didn't last long.They were back to their soft porn scenes late last week.

They are not abstaining until they are married. Chloe was waiting to cut all ties with Lucas 1st. She was waiting for an annulment and It has now come through.

I just watched yesterday's epi, and I still don't feel the love...or see it. They are so stiff when they're together, trying to have a conversation. And I don't care how much the writers have them say "I love you," it sounds hollow and it's still just lust to me. People in love don't have to rip each others clothes off and swallow each others faces to make love. (Unless they've been apart for a very long time.) All of their sex scenes are just that...sex. They never make love, they rut like a couple of animals. (Oops...sorry if I offended any animals out there!)

I HATE it when they kiss! The face sucking is so UGLY! I don't see how anyone gets sexy out of it - they look like two vacuum cleaners in a sucking contest. LMAO - rutting like animals is the perfect way to describe their "love" scenes.

I totally agree.They are disgusting together and their scenes are so overdone.If they truly had amazing natural chemistry and belonged together,why all that disgusting tongue kissing and sleazy sex scenes.It makes them both look like porn stars.Maybe that's what TPTB want.They want Danloe to be their porn couple for now anyway.I don't think they have any long term plans for them.If they did,they would actually have added other layers to their relationship by now,not just the sexual angle which is all they have shown us they can do together.

Personally, I think most loves scenes on Days (i.e. Stephanie & Phillip, Nicole & EJ) are lacking in passion and are overly stiff. Daniel & Chloe ravaging each other, even if it borders on soft porn, is a welcome in my book!

I am indifferent to Danloe. Don't particularly love them but don't hate them either and the chemistry is better then she had with Lucas.

The two points I think the writers were trying to get across with Daniel and Chloe's storyline are:
-you don't choose when love happens
They expressed this very well I find by the whole affair storyline and chose two very talented actors like Shawn and Nadia that have such incredible chemistry.
-you don't choose love it chooses you.
They expressed this through the countless daydreams, heated disagreements, and trying to keep their distance.
I find Daniel and Chloe's story to be a very moving, powerful, and touching one. It truely is a love story and a memorable one to me.
