Would rather they go with Ejanna then Ejami any day, at least they can start fresh with this couple, I don't know if they have any chemistry but I'm sure they were tested. Ejami being a couple bit the dust a long time ago and has been down hill ever since. I don't like her and Brady together at all on Days, in fact I fast forward through them everytime. I love Brady but as soon as they brought this new Arrianna in I just don't care for these two together. I would much rather see Brady with Nicole.

No thank you!!! EJ belongs with Sami - those two are what classic soap couples are made of. To be totally honest - all the other current couples on the show lack all the magic and chemistry that is needed to get the viewers to really believe in their relationships and make it interesting to watch. People on soap operas need to be larger than life - more of everything - magical, intense, good AND bad, intruiging, funny, able to overcome every obstacle, passionate and at the same time REAL. To me, the only characters that really bring all that to life, are Sami and EJ. No matter if you like them or not, they leave no one indifferent, and they keep you tuning in, day after day. And isn't that what true soap couples are really made of???

You know why I don't like Brady & Ari, they bore me to tears . They had a sex scene Monday and I avoided it, she is sensitive and so is he and it makes me taste what I had for supper last night. Don't know what it's gonna be, but it's gonna be fun. She is very spunky and hard nosed, and she knows how to deal with irritating men, shoot, she plays her brother like a violin. And speaking of brother, is this gonna tick him off!

I have to agree with you. I watched Passions, on and off, for its entire duration. And, I was an Ethan and Teresa fan, which made me really excited when I heard that she was coming to DOOL. But, I have to admit, that I have been very disappointed and have been FFWD'ing through the majority of their scenes together. Nothing against EM or LH. I like both of them. I am just not fond of the writing that has been done for them. Their relationship has just taken off so fast- no real story. I guess I am just a fan of the chase- he chases after her, she chases after him, struggling to find their way to each other. I like a build up, not a "let's jump into bed 'cause I have known you for a month or so" story. JMO

Even the thought of EJ w/ Arianna is bizarre...not gonna happen. Ejami fans have been waiting for over a year. It is about time!!!!

I totally agree..... To me, the only woman for EJ is Sami. They have chemistry that is undeniable! I have waited too long for an EJAMI reunion and if the writers go with EJianna - I am going to be furious!!!!!!!!!!!

Great post!!! I totally agree 100%. First of all. Arianna's character is extremely boring to watch. She barely has any chemistry with Brady. Nevertheless, EJ and Sami already have a natural chemistry that shouldn't be thrown under the bus. It appears that some couples on this show are randomly put together without the magic that you have mentioned in your post. Case in point. Rafe and Sami. Rafe may be perceived as the good guy. However, Sami doesn't have the same type of sparks with Rafe as compared with EJ. As for EJ and Arianna. No way!!! EJ should be with Sami...

Exactly!!! EJ could have an ulterior motive because Arianna is related to Rafe. Go Figure!!!

I am anxious to see if Ej and Arianna scenes, let`s see if they have chemistry. However I do not want the writers to change Ej personality to suit Arianna, that would make me barf. I already seen Ej character destroyed by Nicole, he does`nt need to be destroyed by Arianna either. As a Ejami fan, I don`t think I would have a problem with them getting together only if the stoyline is written well. I personally think Ej would not fall in love with her, if anything he would be using her but with days anything is possible.

I think EJ and Arianna will happen. I mean EJ and Nicole happened and Sami didn't stop that. I don't think EJ and Sami will ever get together, JMO. If the writers were going to put them together they could have done it already and just had Nicole interfere for a little bit, but that's not what happened and now well EJ's been duped by both blondes and he'll probably want to move onto someone new, like Arianna.

EJ's character has not only been destroyed by Nicole, but also by Sami. Remember when the writers tried to make us think he was some misunderstood soul and he was really a nice guy underneath, look how that worked out. People hated him, then of course they made him dumber with Nicole. I think EJ is going dark, back to the way he originally was before he was whitewashed to pair him with Sami and I think Arianna will be a good way to keep EJ, as he should be without changing him. She seems like is tough enough to deal with a Dimera and we now know she has been in trouble with the law before.

Well welcome to Days character destruction department...where they have destroyed the following characters:

Sami: destroyed by trying to pair her with Elvis...she was a schemer and she couldn't scheme her way around Elvis...she was never afraid of anyone...and was terrified of Elvis to the point that she agreed to marry him in order to stop some vendetta that known liars like the Dimeras came up with. She would have manipulated the situation instead of getting manipulated. She would have switched paternity results to MAKE SURE that EJ wasn't the father of Johnny. And for all those that say that Sami has recently changed because of her pairing with Rafe think again.....Sami changed in 2006 and we are still waiting to see a version of Sami that resembles her former self. The assassination of her character to prop a newbie character was very evident back then...At least this more mature person is something believable after the death of a baby and WP....

Lucas (attempt #1): destroyed by trying to pimp Ejami....he was also a schemer and him and Sami worked wonders as teenagers to break up Austin and Carrie...are we really going to believe that as adults they would be double good at what they did as teens? of course not...they overcame everything they did to each other and fell in love...they could have put their brains together and made EJ go nuts...but no...Lucas forgot everything and just let the love of his life walk away. Lucas has been in permanent Pod mode since 2006 and hopefully he'll come back now when he gets back from rehab.


Lucas (attempt #2): destroyed by trying to pimp Danloe. Here he is barely a part of his own love triangle all to push the happy go lucky couple. When we did see him we saw a version of him that truly has never existed. Lucas could read Sami from 12 blocks away but couldn't figure out the obvious concerning his wife when it was right below his nose. During the 14 months with Chloe..Lucas wasn't snarky, wasn't sarcastic, his spunk was gone, his jokes were non existant, he wasn't funny, forgot his one liners...I love Lucas but what they did to him in attempt #2 was worse than attempt #1 because at least in attempt #1 he still had his sense of humor and one liners when it came to Ej....


I guess it's EJ's turn now.......

As for EJ and Arianna, this could be really good. Think of the implications! You've got Sami and Rafe together now what if Arianna and EJ get together?!

Holy crap! If both couples got married it would be HYSTERICAL! Think of the Christmas party?! Not to mention that Johnny's StepMom would also be his StepAunt and Johnny's StepDad would also be his StepUncle. Sydney would have it just as bad! The fighting...it would be soap opera GOLD!

EJ and Arianna will be a bust - just like Simone and Ethan were a bust. Why they did not match up physically it will just look painfully awkward.

Lumi Fans have been waiting way longer then over a year. Sorry EJ and Sami just belong on different sides, it will never be a good time for them to get together imo

After they pair Ejami with all possible characters, it will come down to them. Ejami belong together. The writers are writing "musical couples" with these two. They propped (notice I didn't say pimp) Rafe with the lead female character and now they are "propping" Arianna with the lead male character.

As for Lumi, I really don't understand Lumi fans. They've had their couple for 9 years on and off with awesome storylines. They got married.... They practically grew up together, and they've had tons of lovescenes as well. I'd say that Lumi fans have lots to be happy about. Not the same can be said about Ejami fans.

Well, I guess I will be done with days they day that they turn rape into romance. I have watched this show for 30 years and it will be like it never even was a show to me if they ever put them together. You might think the writers have been writing for Ejami just like lumi Fans thought they were writing for them, but things change, they very well could be writing for who they are writing for right now.

Obviously I am one of the few, but I actually like Ari and Brady together. I don't see an EJ/Ari match.

I don't understand how Ejami fans can still want Elvis with Sami after all he's done to her and she never did anything to him to warrant that....at least Lucas and Sami did stuff to each other tit for tat. As for the rest of your 2nd paragraph don't you see the obvious in 17 YEARS Sami and Lucas have always been in each others orbits day in and day out...through friendship, enemies and lovers but we always had scenes and that is 17 years of scenes. What they are doing to them since October of 2008 when Sami went into WP is obvious...they aren't writing for them so we are mad as hell...because frankly we are not used to this...why you say...because weather you are a Lumi fan or not you have to admit that the occassional Lumi scenes bring you back to DOOL in a hurry....don't they? Oh and BTW-we waited 9 years for our couple but they were only romantically together on and off for 5 years.....but for 17 years we've had scenes of the good, the bad and the ugly but they were a constant and coincidently they kept the ratings constant and they were great when they were paired and their love story was written (2003) and that is why you see us mad as hell...because all of a sudden in order to pair Lucas with Chloe they needed to take him out of Sami's orbit entirely and it's glaring at what a disservice that does to fans, did anyone REALLY think that Lucas would not have been at Grace's funeral? common?

Sami said herself she understands EJ and that they are both flawed people. She is trying really hard to reach him and to bring him around again, and we'll see what happens. I can see why you're mad, but like you said, 17 years of storylines....We Ejami fans would like the same courtesy from the writers, and we are mad as he** too. Both fanbases have been scre*ed by them. Sadly, IMO, and from what and read here and on other "places", , there are many Lumi fans who settled for Safe even if "just for now until Lumi get back together" for the main purpose of Ejami not getting together, so IMO, the writers would see no reason to bring them back again. I just try keep in mind that it's only a show.

And I agree, Lucas would have been at Grace's funeral, but the writers replaced him with Rafe both as a parent and as Sami's "soulmate".

This has been mentioned before but I've seen from posters on this site that the majority of Safe fans either were Ejamis or simply like GG as Rafe and went with the pairing. I don't think true Lumi fans settled for Safe why would they....Lumi's history speaks for itself...they do work their way back to each other in time....plus why would we settle for Safe when Lumi has a much more powerful love story backing them up.

I don't think anyone can replace Lucas sorry...GG is a good actor but BD is better...just my opinion of course. I actually think that was done on purpose for a reason that we'll find out soon enough....have you seen BD's new haircut...he and Rafe practically can be brothers now...hmmmmmm...maybe if the Rafe/Sami/Ej triangle turns people off they will flip the switch and go with the two good guys going for the girl....you never know.

The only character I'm seeing destroyed is Sami. She's turning into some goody-goody who couldn't even recognize when she was being scammed by her arch enemy, handing over money she can't afford to lose so she can take care of her kids and all this so she's good enough to be with Mr. Saint himself, Rafe.

And if you're scared of someone you don't get in their faces and tip them over in their wheelchair. Sami's not afraid of EJ. Sami wanted to end the vendetta. Sami may have married EJ but she honeymooned with Lucas. Lucas and Sami fell apart because of Sami and Lucas not EJ.

I like Arianna with Brady. Corday says he doesn't think they are going to "pair" the two of them, but they are already a pair. And they are awesome. Brady is happy. I'd rather not see any more bed-hopping. Keep couples together and let them be loyal to each other. The only way for the people of Salem to win against the bad guys is to stick together. So, I hope EJ turns all evil and will just be using Arianna to get revenge on Rafe and Brady. It would be a much better story if Arianna loves Brady, and Brady rescues her from the evil DiMera den.

Also, it would be nice to keep Nicole with EJ. Nicole's only chance to be co-parent with Sydney is if EJ stays married to her. In spite of what Nicole has done, she really loves Sydney. Sydney belongs with her real mother, Sami; but there's no reason why Sami and Nicole cannot share her. Lots of kids love their step-parents just as much as they do their real parents.

I am tired of the hearing "why" anyone would want ejami together. We have answered that many times and it just turns into an argument that neither side can agree with.

I think ejani will happen for a while. Ej is hurt and needs a rebound. He is going to have a meltdown and he needs to make people pay and this would really hurt brady and rafe. And when sami comes panting after her ej ..it has to be difficult for her...I mean she did break his heart with the whole grace sadness.

Ejanni=rebound. Now whether or not I like them together remains to be seen and I really don't see how anyone can jump on the ship supporting a couple when they haven't even been in a scene together. Seems like that is powered by ejami hate. But then again, maybea they will have chemistry. Who knows.

^Some of us can be excited about the possible new pairing. Sometimes I think some of you have a hard time with others supporting or being interested in any other pairing besides Ejami. I personally am looking forward to a possible new pairing, it's time for something fresh. I can't have Ejole the way I want but I have no problem with Ari and EJ since i've always wanted to see if LH and JS have chemistry so we'll see if they do. If they do have chemistry then i'll definetly be open to the possibility of those two getting romantic that's if the story is good.

^Maybe they are pairing her with someone else so you won't see the Ethan and Theresa dynamic and stop calling her Theresa. I mean a lot of you complained about them redoing ET so maybe they are just answering some prayers by putting her with JS. LOL.

Years ago the powers sure did not mind pairing Bill Horton with Laura after what he did to her, and from this union Jennifer Horton was born. lol

They paired Austin and Sami as well, you see how that went. LOL. I remember AS comparing Ejami to Saustin, wonder why that is? LOL. However, that's not even about this. There was so much complaining about this being a Passions repeat that maybe TPTB decided to go in another direction which leads Ari to the Dimera's world.
