I think when Lucas returns he will probably end up staying with Sami. I know he won't stay with Kate in the Dimera mansion and he probably won't stay with Nathan since Lucas has Allie. I don't think a bachelor pad is the best place to raise a child. I think Sami will offer to have Lucas stay with her. That's all it's going to take and whammo! Lumi love will return. I can't wait to see how it will play out, but I have no doubt it's leading to the Lumi reunion that's been a long time coming. It won't be an Ejami vs. Safe. It's going to be Safe vs. Lumi. I don't believe for one minute that by this time next year Lumi will have returned to each other as their true soulmates.

I believe that he will return to his new house and will be roomates with Nathan. Since Sami and Rafe are reuniting, so it seems, I don't see Lucas living there as a third wheel.

I hope he comes back with no intentions on reuniting with sami.Lucas needs to date other people, putting him with sami again would just be too much considering sami already has two guys that want her, adding him would be a bad option.

I think with Lucas coming out of rehab he is not supposed to get into a relationship right away; this may be part of his rehab. Nonetheless, he really just needs to get control of his life before he can consider another relationship. After all, that's what drove him into rehab.

Although I'm a Lumi fan and want them to ultimately end up together I don't want the to get together immediately upon his return. What do I think will happen? We'll obviously have Lumily scenes involving the children..talk about what occurred and how Nicole kept Syd from Sami and Lucas will likely tell her I told you not to trust her....and all that...but I don't think they'll reunite now. I actually think we'll get more and more scenes and we might see some longing looks and maybe a bit of jealously if he sees Rafe and Sami interact and if the writers think they'll attempt a triangle with Lumi/Safe. I think the writers purposely put him in rehab in order to write his character back to who he used to be. His character was so destroyed by trying to pimp Danloe that he was barely recognizable. When he comes back look for him to have some quality scenes with Sami, Maggie, Nathan and obviously Will and Allie...but I think he will enlist the help of Vivian in order to fully destroy Kate and her company. He's going to run that thing into the ground with Viv's help.....at least I hope that is the story. I loved him and Viv interacting in the past and I would love to see the one liners these two will pull off.

I think it might be fun having Lucas and Nathan living together for a while. It is Lucas' house so I seriously doubt he'd let it become a bachelor pad and I don't think Nathan would do anything immoral in front of Allie anyways.

I really don't know what they will do with Lucas. Luole flopped badly, and Lucas was always bouncing from Carrie to Sami and vice versa. I can't see Lucas with anyone who would stick right now. Lumi is too old for me, but really, I can't think of any other successful candidate for him. Maybe Arianna, but can't see that either. I would love for him and maybe Nicole to get together, they would provide a lot of comical relief for this show. I would love to see Bryan exercise his comedian skills!!

I hope the writers don't use Lucas anymore to prop other characters. It would be nice if he could get out of Rehab focus on raising his kids and meet someone nice but a little wacky who is crazy about him. I don't want anymore sadness for Lucas. He needs someone fresh that he doesn't know or that no one else knows imo it would be nice if the writers would stop recycling love interests for all the characters .

If Lucas and Nathan share the house, then that means there might be some scenes between Malanie and Lucas. It would be fun if Melanie takes a "friend" liking to him and matches him up with somebody.

Yup, thats pretty obvious from all that Im hearing that they are going that route. It will fun to watch and I can't wait.
He and Viv can have fun bringing down Kate--and he can have lots of fun making Rafe uncomfortable when he comes around and Rafe sees how much Sami is involved with Lucas. I hope he gets to do a lot of comedy and lots of scenes with Allie! I want "our" Lucas back--the one who never let anyone get in his way!! Such a great character. Dare say "best character on Days?"..I think so...

He appeared last week...in a phone conversation with Nathan and Melanie...telling Nathan about moving into his house....he said something that they are about to release him and they think he's ready to go back home so he told Nathan to move in now so that someone is there in the house when he gets back...or something like that. The NuAllie recast is due to air the week of November 16 or so and I'm assuming that we'll see him come back to Salem then....or maybe Sami bring Allie and Will to him as she promised...I think he actually gets out by then....and that is the reason they held off on the introduction of NuAllie until mid-November.

I am excited about his return to Salem! I think the show is lacking so much without him being around--but they want to make us wait-to build up the excitement!!

I'm hoping they have him spend some time with his kids. Allie spent most of her time with ClHOe whos now living in Dr. Dan's bed and Will is going through everything with Mia, they could both use their dad. Especially if the truth about Sydney ever comes out, Sami's going to be a little distracted by that mess. Rafe's back and he's been good to the kids, but they could really use their Dad around and focused on them.

I'm wondering if the writers are going to address the fact that Lucas' cheating wife Chloe spilt the beans about Sami being preggers and told Nicole where she was. Sami missed all those months with her daughter because of Nicole and Chloe. As for what Lucas will do. I was thinking Sami would be the only place for him to stay. But he could very well live in the house with Nathan. Its big enough. But definetely I don't see Lumi reuniting right away. Sami is going to be with Rafe. The baby switch s/l will be over and she'll get Sydney back. Lucas will be back as a friend, not involved with Chloe or his mom and Sami will be there for him as he comes out of rehab. I could see this causing tension with Sami and Rafe and who knows. But he'll definetely be back in her life. Lumi is never seperated for too long and they always return to one another.

I can see Lucas and Nathan living together which would bring Lucas into that sl a bit. I can see him being involved in the teen sl with the aftermath of the babyswitch and I can see him being friends with both Sami and Rafe. Rafe never would have had a problem with Ej if he wasnt a ganster treating Sami badly. But than I could see old feelings re-emerging between Sami and Lucas. Than we have a situation similar to Marlena/John/Roman. Personally I see this way more likely than Ej being in Sami's orbit other than as a baby daddy.

Me too...and frankly that is the way a triangle should be...with both couples rootable....that makes a triangle way more successful and entertaining and the reason why Roman/Marlena/John worked because we knew that John and Roman both truly loved Marlena....I can see Lucas and Rafe duke it out for Sami....and Sami being truly torn.

First stop -- The Cheating Heart. I was thinking, they have all types of relationships on here.....they really could expand Lucas' character by placing him into a homosexual relationship. It would allow him to broaden his acting skills, and give us a new type of relationship. OR possibly he and Nicole could give it another try..........I think Brady has moved on.

I have not read one thing about Lucas' return or what his future storyline will be. He was only supposed to be gone for a few weeks. He has been gone a lot longer than a few weeks with a few token scenes here and there. I just don't think the writers know what to do with this character now that Rafe has come to town.

The answer is nothing. Nothing will happen because Lucas is irrelevant and has been for months now. I have been a viewer for 20 years and it's fairly clear what direction things are going in. Maybe he will get a new storyline next year, but he is clearly not written to have much of a role in this one.

I can totally see Sami inviting Lucas to stay with her. I think all 3 of these guys contribute something important to Sami's life. EJ- passion, Lucas- friendship, and Rafe- security. I would hate to see any of them out of her life permanently.

It amazes me how many Lumi fans jumped ship and like Safe. I think that Safe replaced Lumi and made Lucas irrelevant as far as Sami is concerned. There is no story for Lucas and Sami romantically if Rafe is in the picture. Rafe replaced Lucas.

Notice how this thread is about what will happen with Lucas...not what will happen with Lumi..but people just have to bring them into the fold. To all those that say they are irrelevant, old news, just friends, yada yada....I can say so much LESS about others that Sami has been paired with and they are NO longer around. based on today's show it kind of looks like lucas has been replaced by rafe. i mean, was he anywhere to be found when sami and rafe were gettin it on on the couch? sorry lumi fans, but there just isn't fire anymore between lucas and sami. and i'm not really even a 'safe' fan. like i said before, lucas and sami don't look like they'll be getting back together any time soon.

I would love to see Victor, Vivian, Lucas, and Philip working together at Titan and competing against Kate, Stefano and Ej. Lucas and Philip working together against the Dimera's would be especially fun to watch. Besides they are brothers and I would like to see them in more scenes together.

Yeah I didn't think this was about Lumi, but rather Lucas. Guess Lumi is quite popular afterall ....everyone's still talking about them.

Of course you are not a Safe fan and if your not a Lumi fan, I could see why you think Lumi is dead because you want a certain other couple to actually finally materialize after 3 going on 4 years I guess....but realistically Lucas was married to Chloe he left Sami's orbit to be in his cheating wife's orbit instead. How can you ever say there is no fire anymore in Lucas and Sami when the two original actors that have portrayed the couple are still at Days and haven't been recast, I can see the fire going if one of the two were recast but that is not the case. The writing broke them up and the writing can bring them together. I'll remind you of one thing....Lumi needs the writing ONLY they have the friendship and the foundation in place, a certain other couple needs the writing, the foundation, the friendship, the civility...they need everything if you ask me....and frankly the only thing we are seeing now is that Sami is head over heals in love with Rafe (that is where the writing is now)....

One last thing....I am practically convinced that we are seeing Tomlin and Whitesells writing now and that Dena is there in name only....Tomlin is running everything and he is obviously neither a Lumi OR an Ejami fan....he is a Safe fan all the way. But remember one thing if the writers change (which I don't think they will considering the ratings are better) the stories can change so don't ever discount Lumi, just like I don't discount Ejami...it's just the nature of the beast. I suspect if Tomlin gives up some control to Dena we might see a Lumi/Safe triangle after the new year....after all....she wrote Lumi's love story so she knows them better than anyone...

Back on topic....Lucas should be back soon and I hope he does SOMETHING to Kate...anything....

I always have and probably always will find Safe dull! They bore me to sleep. I can't stand EJAMI. I prefer LUMI, but it doesn't look like the writers want that. Maybe they all need new partners? Put them all with someone else so none of us get what we want.

This a triangle I could go for both Rafe and Lucas are good guys and both guys truly love Sami.
Lucas her first real love,father of 2/4 (although I suspect it will be 3/4,possibly all four,or all three if Syd turns out not to be her daughter after all) of her children, her friend and confident. Rafe her current love,friend and partner. Possible future hubby and baby daddy?? I could see Sami being torn between the two.Not so much with the other guy it's essentially the good guy (Rafe) vs the bad guy (H.W.S.N.B.N) Steffy-lite

I think that they'll try to push a bit of the "other" triangle and that will fizzle...and push this one and then we got a GOOD storyline...

Why do so many people care who Sami ends up with?? I mean I know we like who we like, but I just think there are so many more interesting characters than Sami Brady!! I just don't see her qualities that make her so attractive to all of these men! I mean Ali is beautiful, but inside Sami sucks!! I just don't get it! maybe someone can explain it to me!

she is so much like Stefano she could have been his daughter. she has caused so much heartache in her young life who knows what her record will be like when she gets to his age so why is she too good for any man, beats me. lucky any guy would want her, so for me the choice is who does she as an actress have the best chemistry with. as far as Lucas they dont seem to have any real plans for him, they work as friends but thats all.

There is way too much history and chemistry between Lucas and Sami to think for one moment that a newcomer like Rafe could replace Lucas. This isn't the only sight out there where fans post. Lucas and Sami have their own sight called second chances. Most Lumi fans stay over there. It's not that they don't exist. You can also go to canuckdays and find over sixteen years worth of videos of the lumi majic. I'm sorry but they're far from over.
