Frankly, Ghost Sylar is the coolest. What a scene chewer!!
ChiefToad
Ya, so far the ghost sylar is the best of both worlds. He doesn't have the 1 track power hungry ravenous mind of the season1 Sylar. Which is a plus in my opinion. He is having fun, and being super cool while doing it.

Which is the kill them all Sylar? Is that the one from Villains, AFTER he dropped the whole "I'm a good guy" kick?

I'll probably be the only person to vote this...But I liked amnesia Sylar. The way ZQ acted it; the confusion, the emotional shifts, and his facial expressions were all perfection. I thought it was one of the best character portrayals.

I like season 1 Sylar the best - back when he was mysterious and creepy.
The ghost Sylar isn't bad.

Ideally I'd like his body destroyed and his mind to take over Parkman. I'm sue they have n interest in writing out Zach until he's ready to go though.

Um, basically, that's the "they all suck" answer:) Or, that they're all going to hell.

A little more about Ghost (Parkman-possessing) Sylar: The coolest of all is the possible duality that he's either the 'spirit' of Sylar (in which case, Amnesia Sylar is really 'Nathan'), or that Parkman's gone totally nuts. I just like the way Zach Quinto plays him, always arguing for a more assertive, kick-ass approach to Parkman's life. Of course, either way, this means a "Sylar" is controlling Parkman's powers, which are to be feared even more than Sy's own TK/Electroblast attacks.

Amensia Sylar? I think I'm not comfortable with the "Nathan's Trapped Soul" that they're leaning toward, I more like the idea of something like the film "Total Recall", where an 'invented' personality turned a <natural> villian into a <artificial> hero. Or maybe he's just becoming the person Gabe Gray always wanted to be, but was too impulsive to accomplish...

SyNathan, US Senator? Deliberately filmed to look a bit creepy, I wasn't impressed with the idea that he'd be so unaware, and not in full control of, his 'powers'. I was more imagining him being a ruthless, kick-ass politician... y'know, kind of like Rahm Emanuel or Mitt Romney.....

Classic Sylar was just a murdering sociopath. A walking "Stop Me NOW" sign was on everything he did.
Although he was good for explaining why some 'powered' characters would be in hiding...

Likely outcome?? I'd go with Amnesia Boy running off (not happy to realize everyone does what Samuel sez, even before he's really said it), and Possessed Parkman running in (family intervention = blown cover = need to escape/hide from Most Of World. A perfect Sullivan Bros candidate...)

My vote is for FUTURE SYLAR. Baking cookies and having a kid. He was my favorite smile.gif

I guess I left him out mostly 'cuz he's not in the current story arc, nor is he likely to. Besides, he was basically just Gabriel Gray 'unpowered', since he was regarding use of his powers as something he wasn't doing anymore.

My problem with that was that you just don't 12-step away being a serial killer. You might be able to stop killing (awhile...), but that whole step 7 (8?), "Make Amends" is kind of, well, impossible.
But as a person, I thought Gabe Gray was okay, albiet meek, and definitely acted like he never got out much. Kind of like some fanboys.

But "Ghost Sylar"? Even if he's only a figment of Parkman's twisted ego, he's a hell of a "Parkman, you're a wuss" arguer, isn't he??
Loved the "look right into his brain. Need some help? I'll open it up for you..." part.

I also loved future Sylar! Making waffles, feeding Mr Muggles, and caring for his little Noah. It was just so funny!

I also liked "trying to be good Sylar" only b/c it was hilarious watching him and HRG bicker back & forth w/Angela as the referee!

I love Sylar no matter what form he is in though he is usually more intriguing and funny when he's in his serial killer mode. In my opinion he is one of the most audacious and likeable villains in the history of villains aside from the Joker of course. Zachary Quinto is a great actor. I mean I think it would be difficult to nail the part of such a complex character as Sylar and to be able to do it so well is to be commended. It also doesn't hurt that guy is totally cute.

Waffle Sylar was best.

Besides that season 1 ;p

And now another possible Sylar: SyMatt, or Syatt: "Sylar" in control of Matt's powers, not Sylar's. Still a power-greedy Psycho. I think he'd use Matt's Illusion Projection to project a "Sylar" image, or at least one that wasn't Matt, and might project the >illusion< that he had his full powers back to fool any powered characters he encountered. Any way it works, Sylar in control of Matt's body is still a killer, literally.... ((If it's really Sy and not Matt Gone Nuts...))

I really like where they have Sylar now. I love how he is able to be reasoned with and he doesn't want to kill people without abilities.

I guess what I like is that now, in contrast to S1, he interacts with other characters and he is not just a machine. He's still a person.

Peter and Sylar are my favorite characters and although I like Peter more, I still don't want to ever see Sylar die.
