I can't believe that someone would say this!! First of all, I will agree that Syd has bonded with Nicole, but it was her lying and scheming that made it so. It is Nicole's fault that Syd bonded with the wrong mother. You cannot even compare this situation with putting kids back with their "rightful parents". I'm sure you are talking about situations of abuse and what not, but not because they were switched at birth. That's like saying a kidnapper whoudl get to keep the child he has kidnapped unlawfully just because they are bonded to him/her. Should JC have stayed with her abductor because she was gonded. Give me a breat! I could see if Syd was in her teens, now years with the same mom it would devistate her, but Syd is like 7 months old, she probably won't even remember Nicole. Yes, it will be hard on her at first, but she will adjust. Nicole should not be rewarded for doing what she did by getting to keep her!! That's like kidnappers get to keep the kids they take!
I'm sure that in several years, Nicole's baby will come back and it will be another storyline.
As for how I want them to find out, it doesn't matter, as long as Sami and EJ ream Nicole!! I read she would be in prison, I hope it's true!!
As to the bolded part...you are absolutely right..you cannot compare this situation with putting kids back with their "rightful parents"" because this is a soap opera with
fictional characters. Sadly, though, Days does sometimes imitate life. Nicole isn't the only character who has lied, schemed, done despicable things. EJ is guilty of that, and Sami has done more than her fair share of manipulating (I seem to recall her trying to get rid of her own baby sister...doctoring paternity results on several occasions...). Yet Sami and EJ seem to get a pass for all the grief they've caused, while many are ready to lynch Nicole. This is a soap opera.
That said, if I found out tomorrow that the child I've raised for nearly 8 years is not my biological child, I wouldn't just turn my back on him to go find my "real child". The child I've loved and cared for is
my child. I don't think that I'd be entitled to my biological just because he and I share DNA. He would have a life with the parents who have raised him, and to rip him away from his family would just be too traumatic...we would have to get to know each other gradually.
**note please... don't use the names of real kidnap victims when replying to my posts

! Keep it to focused on the show. I can only imagine how it feels to have your child snatched away from you. I think that comparing the characters and their situation to actual kidnap victims is a slap in the face to actual kidnap victims and their families. This is about EJ, Sami, Nicole, Sydney and the other characters in this storyline...please don't bring real people into it. **
