CONTESTANTS JUMP THROUGH HOOPS
Tensions rise when contestants learn from host Alison Sweeney that two players will be eliminated this week – so only six of the eight remaining players will still be in the game after the weigh-in.
With the stakes so high, players are more determined than ever to stay above the yellow line. First, there’s a tennis ball pop challenge that rewards the winner with an advantage at weigh-in. Then the contestants have to jump through hoops – literally – when they head to the circus for a lively challenge with the coveted prize of immunity for whoever wins.
Later, contestants are led by trainer Bob Harper through a wild, trapeze-swinging last chance workout, only to return to the ranch and find trainer Jillian Michaels ready to put them through a second, grueling last chance workout.
Then a dramatic weigh-in leads to heartbreaking eliminations as the contestants say goodbye to two more players.

I wonder if it would be the two below the yellow line going home, or they are going to have to vote 2 out of a 3 below the yellow line.
Its odd how much the eliminations change this season. First a team member, then no one, then a team, then singles, now two nonteam. Makes it interesting, but inconsistent.

Hi "chazee",
I wanted to thank you for this post each week. I log on just to read your preview of each Tuesday's episode. It lets me know what to expect and what to look forward to.
Just wanted to say thanks for doing it!!

I was thinking the same thing. I hope that they get to vote and it's just not the 2 below. Maybe since they are doubling the people who go home, maybe they will put 4 under and vote off 2. Let's see some predictions as to who will go home. As long as Danny, Amanda or Liz doesn't go home, I really don't care. I don't like Rebecca much anymore so it would be nice to see her go. Can't wait for tonight!!

i'm on the opposite side of this coin. i'd like to see the two below the yellow line go home. no votes. if that's the case though, i'd like them to know at the beginning of the episode (for them, at the beginning of their week). it would be interesting to see how they amp up their workout, and tweak their intake without "game play". excited to see how it plays out tonight. i love Tuesday evenings!!

The preview strongly suggests a scene in which contestants are giving the "why I need to be here" speech. [note: it's pretty spoilerific about who is fighting to stay - it clearly shows two people addressing the group post-elimination while one of the two voices over]
So... it looks like there's a vote in some way.
There's 8 on the ranch. 1 will have immunity. Rebecca was immune last show and presumably will have a good week.

first, Chaz, I hope you and your family are feeling better. I don't come to the site to often and post very seldom, but saw that you had that nasty flu last week. Anyone/everyone who has had it, knows it's not fun, so hope you are better. (And shame on those who critisized for the posts to not be up and running on time!)
Second, as much as I loved Danny last season, it's time for him to go home. He has the tools he needs to continue to be successful, go home and use those tools and show the world what a success you can be.
My hopes are for Danny, Liz or Shay go home. Yeah everyone will say Shay "needs" it more, but you know what, if the contestants didn't NEED it, none of them would be there, so in my opinion, everyone who has been on the ranch has NEEDED to be there at some point, for whatever reason. Liz was one of my favorites in the beginning, but now she has "fallen below the yellow line" for me. I just don't like her attitude anymore.
Once those three are gone, I will be happy for any of the remaining on the ranch to win the money.
And I'll be one of the few who hopes that Tracie gives everyone at home a run for thier money and wins the at home challenge, if not her then definately Abby.

This is just my theory. I'm thinking that Liz and Rebecca had low weights last week so will more than likely be safe this week. I'm thinking any of the bigger ones that pulled high digits last week could be in danger this week. Bigger ones are Danny, Shay, Rudy and Daniel. Really I don't want to see anybody leave. They all need to be there. Of the ones left who can best do it at home would be Danny. I think he's very focused. I would not be surprised to see him win the at home weight loss.

Looks like Shay and "america's choice" are up for elimination at least. Rudy is on the couch looking comfortable as well as Danny.

Rebecca is by far my favourite at this point, although I really like all of them, except for Liz.
Does anyone feel like it might be too obvious if it was Shay, just based on the preview? We know they like to trick us...
I'm interested to see how the voting goes (if it happens that way), based on what we know of the different alliances.

With Tracie gone they need to find some drama some place. If the players are told at the beginning of the week about the upcoming elimination we could see huge numbers this week as the players do anything they can to lose weight. If Daniel was't water loading a few weeks ago then they must have made a breakthrough the last week as hge had a huge week. Hope to see them all lose big so that whoever goes home doesn't start on the wrong foot.

It looks pretty obvious to me that the alliances are Rudy, Allen, Danny, and Liz on one side and Shay, Daniel, Rebecca, and Amanda on the other side. I wasn't sure about Rebecca until the last episode. If you watch closely, you will see that she is always sitting with Daniel, Amanda, and Shay, and slyly winking at them at any other time. My vote for the two to go home would be for Daniel and Rebecca.

Well according to
Daniel and
Rebecca's Facebook pages they are dating each other; Shay and Daniel are the original Orange team; and Amanda and Rebecca are the Pink team / roommates. So the young ones are pretty tight.
They've said from the beginning that it's been old vs. young for a while, so we'll see how tonight goes...

Just to clarify- this is what I'm assuming:
Daniel (youngster)-- was from last season, is from N.C, is dating Rebecca.
Danny (more 'seasoned')-- new this season, from OK, was in a rock band
