Talk:Musical Guests

From SNLWiki

Paul McCartney

On February 13, 1993, Former Beatle Paul McCartney was the special musical guest on SNL. Earlier that evening, Paul was rehearsing in the studio, which was packed with people. He performed The Beatles' classic "Hey Jude," which he would perform live on the show later that night. There was not a dry eye in the house. Everyone was so moved. Even the guard who was protecting "The Gap Girls" set was crying!

I'd like to see "Built to Spill" on SNL.

My Morning Jacket--they were great. Modest Mouse, too...(a few years back). I don't know if this is the right place for this discussion but, I would love to see "Built to Spill" on the show --as they are the original band that -I believe- partially influenced these musicians. What do you think?
