Hi all! I wanted to share with you a good website that offers advice and parenting tips for how to keep your children from smoking. It is www.keepkidsfromsmoking.com. This is a community service site so there are no ads and nothing is for sale. It is worth a look. Have a great day!

Have a great day! it is a great website! it's interesting and inspiring to see how other parents deal with this issue. i very much agree with one of the parents saying it's important to build a child's self esteem in order for him to have the "power" to resist peer pressure. children that are self confident can hold their own in social settings. |

You're right--peer pressure is definitely one of the things that make kids smoke. what's worse is that they become embarrassed and addicted to such a dangerous behavior. |
