Don't worry about Ms Barbee Lee she makin more than the rest of us and if she finds herself unemployed well we got a whole gang of folks who believe in her and Jericho, we will get her back to work.

The first episode underwent a lot of changes and I hope that those changes make the next episodes better.
For all the complaining by Robert Seidman of TV by the Numbers, Three Rivers had 9.1 million viewers. It may not make the cut at CBS, but I thought it did fairly well.
I did like their photography and the three panel screen graphics as they cut to a commercial.
I hope the show improves since I like medical shows better than cop shows.

I watched it, not at all into hospital or medical shows but couldnt miss something that had Carol Barbee involved and of course a long overdue chance to watch Alex on screen...
I liked it actually. Thought the cast was really well put together and some character background was slipped in really well with some good writing.
Good storylines, not sure how far fetched some of it was, but I enjoyed it and will keep watching.
I hope it hangs around awhile.

I know the pilot was reshot, and I am guessing we saw the second version. All but Alex were recast.
The script had minor changes done. The original storyline had the donor as a woman who was shot at her wedding. I think that may have been too bold for CBS.
I've watched most of the medical shows over the years, although my favorite is still Medical Center with Chad Everett.

Thats interesting Gwen, I'd be interested to see who was originally cast. I like Daniel Henney who plays Dr. David Lee, impressed me as a good actor. The woman who plays Dr. Foster seemed to be struggling with a little of that first show overacting to me, but I thought the same of Mariska Hartigay in L&O at first so what the heck do I know. I don't think you can wrong with Alfre Woodard. she's terrific.
I always look at new shows and picture different actors in the roles, which is why I love when actors are somewhat unknown in shows, helps to let you believe their character easier and faster I think.
Either way though, Alex O is not hard on the eyes at all, and while there is still blood involved like his last show....and least now its not being sucked from people..much more pleasant.
I liked the donor story they used and like that you are able to see it from that family's perspective as well. The wedding shooting may have been too hard an opener.
Medical Center...wow! Blast from the Past...I was a Quincy fan! LOL
Anyway, hope that made sense...long week of painting and the fumes may have jumbled my thoughts.
I'm looking forward to the next episode

Well no wonder the first episode was different that the script - they didn't air the pilot first. The 2nd episode was the first one we saw.

I do wish CBS would stop changing the order of the episodes... I read the article that said Lennie's episode "Alone Together" (
http://threeriversblogspot.blogspot.com/20...eases-9-29.html ) was supposed to be on tonight but the tv listings show Shiloh aka Sean's episode "Good Intentions" on tonight.. guess will just have to wait and see.

I like the show but wish instead of starting with deaths they would let you get to know who needs the transplants and then show through flashbacks how the organs became available. I didn't remember where I had seen Shiloh before. He was much more likeable in Three Rivers.

The cardiologist who wanted to take the detective up without doing an x-ray. He was speaking with his normal accent and wasn't on very much.
Hubby was half watching and it took him a while before he turned to me with this look of "Hey!" on his face. I laughed and told him that yes, it was Hawkins.

I also told him that Carol said she was trying to get as many of the Jericho cast to guest as she could. I know Michael Gaston (Gray) will be on sometime.

I know Castle was picked up, I just meant overall worrying about it for next season. That's one of the few times the bubble show I love is performing well. The Forgotten did get more episodes, but it hasn't been performing well either. I think Castle should be safe for next year, Forgotten...well, we'll see. I just enjoy seeing Bob in a bigger role.
